When social authentication setup is complete, use the following steps to display the login buttons for each social network.

All steps are outlined here in further detail.

  1. Add the SCSocialWidget module to add a widget in a module position
  2. Use Easy-tags to manually insert any social widget into your page content.

  2. Create Open Graph objects.
  3. Use the SCOpenGraph easy-tag to manually insert Open Graph tags onto your page.

View Social Network Streams

Set up a channel for your social network streams to display posts, with complete control over output HTML and CSS. You can see an example at the bottom of sourcecoast.com labeled "Social Stream".

  1. Set up authentication for your social network.
  2. Authenticate with the owner of your Social Network stream, e.g. administrator of your Facebook Page.
  3. Set up a channel in JFBConnect and accept any necessary posting permissions.
  4. Set up a SCSocialStream module to display posts from the channel you created.

Facebook also provides a simpler way to display Page posts with the Page Plugin widget. Please follow the steps above in the "Social Widget" category to set this up.

Post Content to Social Networks

Automatically push content to your social network as it's published on your website. This is a powerful tool to bring traffic to your site and keep your users up-to-date.

  1. Set up channels and authenticate with channel owner to accept any necessary posting permissions.
  2. Configure Open Graph objects / enable Open Graph plugins to designate which published content will be posted.
  3. Configure Open Graph selections in the Channel edit area.
  4. Publish content in our supported extensions, such as Joomla articles, K2 items, JomSocial events and groups and EasyBlog posts.
  5. If you don't want to autopost, manually post content instead.
