The JFBConnect Autotune tool will configure your Facebook Application for Open Graph Actions. However, you need to use their interface for creating and configuring the custom Objects and Actions that will be used on your Joomla site.
You can skip this step if you are trying to create the following object types:
If you need to create a different type of object, let's say you have a cooking site with articles about different "Recipes". Then, you may want to have an object type of "Recipe" as well as actions for "I cooked" or "I ate". The first step would be to create the "Recipe" object.
For this documentation, we'll be creating a "Recipe" object type which we'll assign to a specific Joomla content category of our Joomla site. Then, we'll create a "Cook" action which can clicked by a user to post to the user's Timeline, along with a message, friends or people that were with them.
To begin, go to the Facebook Developer Area and click into your Application. Then, click on the Open Graph menu and go to "Types". You'll see a page like the following:
Click the "Add a New Object Type" button in the middle of the page. A popup will appear asking for the object type. Add "Recipe", or whatever custom object type you want to create, here.
Click "Submit". You'll be brought back to the main Open Graph Dashboard, which will look like the image below.
You'll see the properties that are created for every object. In general, leave these along and click "Save Changes". You could also use the "Add New Property" button here to create additional properties that would display in news stories here. For instance, we could create an 'ingredients' property and then, on each recipe page, add the ingredients used for that recipe using the JFBConnect Open Graph Tags.
