Yes, Facebook requires that you have an SSL certificate for your site and that the Secure Tab URL setting is filled in. If you continue to have problems with Page Tabs after setting that up, please post in our technical support forums at https://www.sourcecoast.com/forums

What does the future of JFBConnect hold? Any thoughts of putting out a roadmap with an emphasis on user input?

JFBConnect is always evolving. A year and a half ago, we only supported Facebook integration. Now, we support 10 different social networks. Over the same period, we've added social 'channels' for posting content from your site to various social networks, profile integration for more 3rd party extensions and other features. In 2015, we'll be adding (at least) Yahoo integration as well as more social channels, easier administration options, and improved Open Graph support. One of the main focuses we have in 2015 is making the features we primarily have for a select few networks, and Facebook in specific, available for the other networks we support.. for example, requests (invitations) and more social sharing options. In general, almost all of our features come from user feedback. If there's something we're missing or something you're looking for, let us know either here or in our support forums. For all Apps created after May 1, 2014, the ID returned for the user will be the App Scoped ID. With that ID though, you can obtain all the user's profile information, including a link to their Facebook profile. That ID is also used for later logins to your site, and JFBConnect automatically takes care of associating the ID Facebook returns (either the real ID or App Scoped one) with their Joomla account. You shouldn't delete your Application once your using it on your site or else problems with the app scoped ID could happen. JFBConnect does have multiple ways to let a user associate their Facebook account to an existing account though, which would work even if you setup a new Facebook Application.

I have no concern with login later using joomla username and login, but i am talking about login by FB that if somehow FB deletes my fB application which i was using to make login by facebook for our users then they will not be able to login with FB as you guys store a application scoped user id and compare it to make login by FB later. In that case what can i do?

If Facebook deletes your app, you're likely doing something really wrong and they may not let you create another application altogether. With that said, again, JFBConnect will let users update their mapping for an existing Joomla account to a new application, if you had to make one. This can be done by the user or by a setting in JFBConnect which will automatically map existing Joomla users to a Facebook account if the email addresses on both accounts is the same.

Fb user may change Email so email comparison night not work. Anyway, as i took a look in js code, new user redirected to registration page after fb login but no fb id is passed with url. Is there any dependency on curl that fb info is retrieved by server side php code utilizing curl? Not all server have these methods enabled.

Yes, you need cURL installed on your site. 99+% of servers have this installed and it's required to get more profile information about a user, including their avatar.
