Social meta tags are one of the hardest things to grasp for website owners. They're not only difficult to understand and set, it can also be difficult to test social meta tags.

Just like the title and description of your site, social meta tags they are hidden pieces of text on your page that will guide the social networks in how your site, and brand, should be represented in status updates, news feed posts and other social channels. When they aren't set, you're leaving your first impressions to thousands of perspective users in the hands of what Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social networks 'think' is the best way to represent your content.

Learn more about the social meta tags you need to know about, how to set them, and how to verify them before sharing your content.

With the launch of v2.0 of the Facebook Graph API over 2 years ago, a new review process was also implemented for all Facebook Applications. The review process is Facebook's way to verify that deeper integration features on your site are abiding by Facebook's Terms of Service. There's a lot to understand about the process and some of it may surprise you. Some JFBConnect features like posting to your Facebook Page usually don't even need to go through the review process. For the features that do need review, what's the process and how do you proceed? Read our blog post to find out. https://lnkd.in/eKbiwbb
