We've been consulting on a website which integrates Recurly into Joomla and wanted to get feedback from our users on the possibilities. The website is for a Southwest Florida Home Watch service company. Recurly is a software-as-a-service subscription payments platform which specializes in monthly payments. They have a rich API which we did minor integration with, and now we're looking for feedback on whether this is something other Joomla users would be interested in using.
JFBConnect v5.1.2 is now available now with improvements to the recently added Google+ integration. This release contains compatibility enhancements, bug-fixes and minor improvements for the most powerful extension social network integration for Joomla. The largest change in this release is a move to a new jQuery compatibility layer. We've heard from multiple users about conflicts with templates and other extensions since the 5.1 version originally came out. This new version should fix those issues. Read on for more information on other changes in this release.
Last week we ran a test of a new Facebook Notifications feature we're working on for JFBConnect, the social network integration extension for Joomla. The test was a resounding success with a 28% engagement rate, and now we'd like to have your feedback on it, how you'd want to use it, and, in general, let us know what you think.

The next major feature release of JFBConnect is coming along very well and planned for next month. While in development, we realized we already had over 30 enhancements, improvements to JomSocial Facebook integration, bug-fixes and our new Enhanced Joomla Login module ready to go. We decided we wanted these improvements in our user's hands as soon as possible, so we released v5.0.1 late last week. Read on for more information about the new release as well as the current status of v5.1.
A new version of JLinked, the LinkedIn extension for Joomla, is now available. This release adds amazing new features like automatic registration, automatic account linking and our new Enhanced Joomla Login module - SCLogin. JLinked has always provided the easiest way to integrate LinkedIn with Joomla, JomSocial, Kunena, Community Builder and other extension; now it adds even more power to do so.
Father time has not treated the SourceCoast website well. Originally launched as a 'brochure-ware' site for pitching Joomla consulting services, it morphed into the home of the best extensions for Facebook integration with Joomla and LinkedIn integration with Joomla. Because of the large shift in focus, and the drastic shift in web technology and design, the old site had become a bit of a mess as content sprawled in different areas and wasn't as easy to find as we'd have liked.
Facebook recently began sending notices to many users of JFBConnect, the Facebook integration suite for Joomla, notifying them of upcoming changes to the Facebook platform. This email, referencing the "July 2013 Breaking Changes", contains some information on Facebook integration features that your site may use.
Please rest assured that the current releases of JFBConnect fully supports the upcoming changes. In almost all cases, you should experience no altered behavior, but there are a few things to watch depending on how you may have implemented your Facebook Like buttons or Facebook Comment boxes in Joomla.
Read on for more details about the update, and how you should be already prepared just by using JFBConnect.
We're very excited to announce a new SCLogin module freely available to any users of Joomla 3.1, Joomla 3.0 and Joomla 2.5. This module is based off the Joomla 3.x login module, with improvements like a horizontal mode, streamlined looks, and a modal popup view for login and registration. Additionally, the new module seamlessly integrates with JFBConnect for Joomla Facebook integration or JLinked for LinkedIn integration with Joomla, letting you easily let users login using 2 of the most popular social networks in a slick looking login module.
