What about required CB field?

yes I get just right now your subscription and you right it seem no problem happen to you... I don't know why few days ago I get some problem. I will perform more test soon for see if this happen again...

Please can ask you to remove the link you posted in your previous post? In fact I don't have problem to display it but I would like avoid a bit to be indexed in search engine with this kind of topic. My site is new so it will better to not start to be indexed like that... Later when some more page will be indexed I will not have any objection...

I would like to know if you can in next or future release add a more efficient check on the CB/FB required field during registration process.

Here 3 points about that:

1) I enabled the default Ajax username checker present in CB for check if a username is available or already taken. This is useful because if not check is made, user can register even with a username already taken and will get a unclear error message telling the "username is maybe taken or the verification password failed". This can be annoying because it require to try many time until user get a non taken username who can potentially discourage user to register... If you can make appear the nice Ajax checker in the FB/CB registration form (when is enabled in CB configuration) it will be wonderful...

2) I set the predefined CB username field for authorize only input who contain single word and standard character or number (a-z and 0-9). All character like underscore or others are not allowed... This is useful because I have experimented some users have input (before I set username field with this character restriction) non standard character and CB or other components can produce error when using username if that name contain non standard character... I don't know if you can but if is possible to apply the same restriction set in CB for username field displayed during FB/CB registration it will be great...

3) Finally you solved (like explained somewhere in this long thread) the problem related to display the default CB "blue info icon+bubble" and his yellow "alt bubble" to any required registration field. But this icon/bubble are only displayed on custom required field and not on default fields like username and password. By displaying also this icon on default required field will help and warn user to input correct data (providing correct username and a password long at least of 6 character)..

I noticed during this few last days, a community can start and grow only if the registration process is very efficient and if users provide correct data...
