Sorry for not getting back to you. It was a holiday weekend here in the States, and we were cleaning up a few other tasks towards the end of last week after we got you (mostly) up and running.

- To make the changes, we used NinjaXplorer and ExtPlorer. Both are components we installed on your site, and they allow us to edit files on your site.
- We're investigating the date field issue, but it's not a high priority for us right now.
- We are working on the Tooltip issue, and it is indeed dealing with including the Overlib library. This should be a pretty straightforward fix and it's a high priority, so we should have something available soon (next few days).
- The Login and Register buttons are not in the language file. This is the first time that's ever been pointed out, and is indeed an issue. I've added a tracker issue for this, and we will have it fixed in the next release.
- Login pop-up language: JFBConnect automatically detects your Joomla configured language and tells Facebook to use that for the pop-up and social plugins (Like, Comment, etc). I can't log into your site now to check what's going on because the admin password doesn't work anymore and the front-end is showing a memory error with jReviews. If your default front-end language is set to French, check the JFBConnect Configuration area's Facebook API tab and make sure you haven't specified a language override value.. it should be blank.
- I think you mean the box when a user is logged in where it says "Reconnect this account". If so, in the JFBCLogin module's parameters, disable "Allow Reconnections". If that isn't what you mean, let us know.

Hope this helps, and we'll post later this week when we have the tooltips fixed. Should you run into anything else, let us know!
Alex

hello Alzander

No problem...a little bit of holiday is always welcome. I forgot is USA you celebrate the 4 July.

- Yes I see you have installed Ninja stuff for edit files. I will keep this stuff again a little bit and later I will uninstall it.

- Great to know about tooltip and register language string. Is really cool you plan to fix this soon..

- About language problem related to FB popup and social stuff I have checked API configuration like you suggest but the language field is blank. My front-end is in french and my back-end is in english. However I try to change also back-end in french for see if this change something but no. I continue to not understand why all language still in english (before with previous JFBConnect version I had no problem with that). My site is now online ( I got some server memory problem recently on my VPS but my host have now fixed the issue) and I enabled again the Admin account for you. If you can take a look is very nice. I will PM you again admin credential...

- No in fact I mean the login screen displayed when user click of FB Connect button for the first time. But no problem about that... I wanted hide the username/password field who permit to associate an existent Joomla account with a FB account...but is better of course to keep this because if a user subscribe normally to my site using default CB registration process and later he want login with his FB account, this process will help.

However in this login screen I get a small glitch (tested using FF and Chrome) with the position of the CB Term of use checkbox (see screenshot). Like you can see it is too much close to the last normal field. I think is required to change a CSS value somewhere for place that field lower but I'm unable to find the right code even using Firebug. Nice if you can help also for that..

many thank

Cheers

Yes, please leave those extensions for now (NinjaXplorer and extPlorer), and uninstall when we're done.

Not sure about the language setting for the Facebook API. I got your email with the login credentials, but it's saying my account is not a high enough level. However, in that Facebook API config area (where I had you check the language setting before for blank), you can force the language to French by putting in "fr_FR".

If you can get my admin user's credentials to work, I can easily put an extra carriage return between those fields and add it to the next version of the plugin for the future as well.

Thanks,
Alex

I tried already to force language to French and it work....but what about my german users? All still in french in that case even if I'm on the german part of the site...

Dotcom,
Thanks for pointing out this issue. We already had a report of a similar language related issue that we were planning to investigate for the 4.0 release. With your report, we pulled it up and realized that we were grabbing the language string in a way that doesn't work on all sites, like yours. I implemented the fix on your site, and would love to hear you're results.

Hope this helps, but if not, let us know. This will definitely be in the next release of JFBConnect, as will most of the other minor changes we've made specifically to your site.

Good luck,
Alex

Beautiful Alzander...now all seem to be fine about language.

I don't know why my site is different than others...probably because I use Joomfish???

Last point: I asked you in my previous post if is possible to tell me how to fix the small glitch about the positioning of Term of Use checkbox. I posted a screenshot for show you... Is not a big deal but users must accept that term for be able to subscribe. It seem not to be a template or browser issue...but just a CSS value who need to be more higher...

many thank

Cheers

I just got into your site and made 2 minor modifications:
1) A change to how we're loading the proper Community Builder language file for showing the profile fields. You shouldn't see any difference with this, but upon investigation, we found the proper way to do it. If you see any problems, let us know.
2) Added a line-break before the Terms of Service

Hopefully, that fixes you up for now. We'll be getting the tooltip functionality working shortly as well. These are all going into the next release of the CB profile plugin, so these aren't one-off fixes you'll need to worry about in the future.

Thanks,
Alex

Alright, good news again. The overlib library is now being loaded, and the rich tooltips seems to be working. Again, test, and let us know how it goes.

I think this is the end of the issues you've been having. I know it hasn't been easy, but thank you for your patience, and should there be anything else you need, just let us know how we can help!

Beautifuuuuuuul..... :D

CB tooltip seem to work well now!!

Many thank also to have fix the positioning of Term or use checkbox.

All seem to work fine using Firefox and Chrome...but I did not tested with IE. Sometime like you know we can have some bad surprise when using IE even if all work well with other browser alternative... I must soon fully test my site using IE 7 + 8 + 9 for see if I get some issue with all components and template. So if some problem happen I will tell you but probably all will be fine...

However I see a difference since you make some modifications: Is the fact the error message (normally displayed when we don't fill a mandatory field and marked inside a special yellow box) is no more displayed. Now the missing empty field are just marked in red without any message. Anyway is not a big deal...for me the process is enough clear like that... If you have the time and the patience for try to fix this is nice...if not no problem. I don't want abuse...

many thank for all

cheers

Dotcom,
Sorry for the delay. To begin, you can't abuse our support. It's what you subscribed for, and what we're here for.

Definitely let us know how testing in IE7+ has gone. We test our extensions thoroughly in all browsers, but things do slip through here and there.

As for the red-box vs yellow with error message, yes, that will be a difference in our validation. We're using Joomla's built in form validation, which marks un-populated required fields with a red box vs the error messages that Community Builder provides. Hope this isn't too inconvenient, and certainly, if you get bad feedback, let us know. It should be pretty easy, if you're interested, to at least have a Javascript pop-up box that says something like "Please fill in all fields" or "red boxes" or whatever you'd want to put to notify the user.

Thanks again, and very glad you're mostly going with everything, JFBConnect-wise!

Best of luck,
Alex
