Glad you figured out the caching issue. Not sure what was going on there.

Anyway it is very strange that one user passes in same browser and other not. I got an error from FB.

What is the error message you're seeing?

Also it happens that just black page appears for a minute and than I got many login pages under each other.

Do you have any SEF extensions installed? If so, try disabling them to see if that fixes the issue. If so, configure the extension to 'skip' generating SEF URLs for JFBConnect.

If that doesn't help, check if you have any plugins meant to redirect the users after login or otherwise may be interfering with the login process as that's what it sounds like is happening.

I am not sure why this is so complicated current/sad Are you able to connect to my page and resolve problem, I am spending to much time with one app, what shoudl do very simple thing = move data from one page to another and work with it.

Sorry you're running into issues. Most of the problems you've mentioned were resolved pretty quickly by explaining the behavior of our settings. There are tooltips for each setting which describes the behavior as well, which we recommend you look through to understand how JFBConnect works. There are a lot of options in JFBConnect, but it's a powerful extension which means there's quite a few different ways to configure things.

I hope that all helps, but should you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

This is expected behavior if you have the 'Enable Automatic Registration' setting set to No. In that case, when the user hits the Login with Facebook button, they are redirected to this Login / Register page you are seeing before their account is created and mapped to their Facebook account. This can useful for a mini-registration and if you're using a Social Profile plugin to import profile data to third parties.

If the 'Enable Automatic Registration' is set to Yes, then when the social network login buttons are pressed, this intermediate page is skipped and the account is created with an automatically generated username, password and other information.

1. If you don't want this mini-registration page, then simply set the 'Enable Automatic Registration' to yes. Please note, that some social networks, like Twitter don't support retrieving the user's email address, so you will be directed to this page no matter what.
2. If you're just looking to hide the following portion of the page, then set the 'Registration Display Mode' setting to Register Only.

If you already have an account, just log in here, and we'll link your Facebook account to it.

Playing around with these settings should get you going quickly, but please let me know if you have any more issues.

Sorry, if you are not able to connect to my site and set all that it would work, i am not sure if I will fix problem as I have tried everything.

I have been playing with this component for several hours with no success, I still dont get any registration member through your component - still black shadow screen and than nothing, no error message.

I have clear and new page, with no bugs, all up to date. Are you able to help me without any more writing in here?I am spending to much time on this and my patience is running out.

Thanks

You can PM me credentials to your backend and I can set those settings. However, as I stated in one of my previous posts, I was able to connect my FB user properly, so I will still need your help to test as I could not reproduce your issue at the time.

Also, please let me know which of your websites to do this for. I see that you've used autotune on alirecenze.cz/ and reviewadvisor.eu/

I understand your frustration. JFBConnect has grown to be a large but comprehensive tool, and there are so many different configuration options that it can be hard to get it working quite right. I know that you've been working a while on getting this right and I am happy to help.

How it shoudl work? Simply like on other pages: in case user is new, and he want to registrer easily with FB, he will click FB button and than confirm FB apps that I will get his detials. Than he will get confirmation email that he is registered. For user who do have account, I dont want autologin when comming on page. I know all these features are there, anyway I dont want to touch anything after you set it properly for me.

On each of your two sites alirecenze.cz/ and reviewadvisor.eu/ I had to tweak a couple settings to get the behavior as you described (mainly the 'Enable Automatic Registration', 'Send New User Emails', and 'Auto-Login Facebook Users' settings). Here are the steps that I used to test, but please test more on your own and let me know if you want any of the behavior tweaked:

alirecenze.cz/
* Log in through alirecenze.cz/ Facebook button that was integrated with JomSocial
* Logged in and the "Facebook profile succesfully connected" message was shown
* New user email was received
* I couldn’t find a log out button on your page once I was logged in, so I used the link alirecenze.cz/index.php?option=com_users&task=logout and the button it showed to log out
* Then I revisited page and was not logged in, even though account existed and I was still logged in on FB

reviewadvisor.eu/
* Logged in through SCLogin Facebook button
* I was logged in properly. I see Welcome Melissa text in SCLogin but the styles make it hard to read. May need to adjust your CSS for the module to match your page better
* I did not see the message that the Facebook profile was mapped successfully, but some templates might not show those messages. You can test that the message would appear by switching to the Joomla default template
* Email was received properly
* I logged out via SCLogin module
* Then I revisited page and was not logged in, even though account existed and I was still logged in on FB

This behavior now sounds like what you described, so please let me know if it should be tweaked any more.
