Hi guys,

1 - Please, When the Instagram oEmbed widget ( described here in the documentation ) is engaged by JFBConnect, and we should "Set Up" it ?

2 - Here you wrote me that: "...JFBConnect does not take advantage of the Instagram Graph API. You can disable that functionality..."
But, Are you sure ?
As far as I see here Instagram Basic Display API ( Consumer ) / Instagram Graph API ( Business ) products > "...Instagram Graph API (excludes Instagram Basic Display API)..."
are the heirs of the old " Instagram Application Setup " version.
Please, Can you clarify?
(I suspect there is a need for a documentation update)

3 - Does "Business" (Instagram Graph API) mean that I'm using an "Instagram Business Account" ? If so, I have to switch "App Type: Consumer" to "App Type: Business",
OR, Does it mean that my Business is a B2B (directed to others Business) instead to be B2C (directed to Consumers) ?!?
Please, Do you have any experience / suggestions on it ? Have you ever switched from "App Type: Consumer" to "App Type: Business" ?

I'm not sure what you're asking here. Can you explain a bit more about what issues you're running into or questions you have?

The Basic Display API and Instagram Graph API are different features for Instagram. JFBConnect only requires the Basic Display API integration to be setup. If you have the Graph API setup, it shouldn't hurt, but JFBConnect does not use any functionality from that API. I hope that clarifies, but a little confused from your different links as to what you're trying to say.

The Instagram Graph API allows some extra abilities to fetch more information about some profiles. Facebook recently added new account types for their applications in general for different permissions. The Business Type allows for managing Facebook Pages, which JFBConnect needs for some features, but that's not to be confused with the Instagram Graph API.

You're correct that we likely need to update some setup documentation for getting a Facebook app setup with the new flow. That was introduced in early November, but has been rolled out slowly to all users so we are just starting to see that appear for some of our apps (which means we can finally incorporate it into our docs).

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

1 - Instagram oEmbed widget
into the JFBConnect documentation you wrote to set up it. Please, When does JFBConnect use the "Instagram oEmbed widget" ?

2 - 3 - ..."...You're correct that we likely need to update some setup documentation for getting a Facebook app setup with the new flow. That was introduced in early November, but has been rolled out slowly to all users so we are just starting to see that appear for some of our apps..." = We know the confusion is doing Facebook (and also Google) on last 2/3 years and how they suddenly change the rules and products, don't worry. But it is for the same reason that I'm asking here to you that you have more experience on it :D

I'm quite sure that there is something more on last changes. Please, Can you read what I reported carefully (I mean with no hurry) and let us know... ?
Many Thanks for sharing your experience on "reading Facebook rules" :)
