I just logged into the front-end of your site with the credentials you provided. When I did that, I was able to see the social toolbar in the bottom left hand corner:
File Attachment:

When you login, are you not seeing that toolbar? The "Create Post" button is what you would use to post the page you're currently viewing to the social networks you have configured.

I hope that helps, but if you're still having issues, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

I see the social toolbar now too. Thanks. Not sure why I didn't see it before, but that doesn't matter.

I tried to post to Linkedin using the toolbar and got this error:

1 Autopost LinkedIn Company Error code 403 received requesting data: { "errorCode": 0, "message": "Access to posting a company share denied.", "requestId": "JCJULSQ5N1", "status": 403, "timestamp": 1553020262537 }. 2019-03-19 13:31:02

That message sounds like you haven't granted permission for publishing to your company page. It's also possible that permission expired. You should try to authenticate again with the user that is the owner of the LinkedIn page to ensure the permissions have been granted.

With that said, I need to let you know that LinkedIn is removing the ability to post to pages on May 1st for most users. The only applications that will be able to post to company pages are those that are in the LinkedIn Marketing Developer Program .

That change is part of their migration to a new API. We're working on an updated version of JFBConnect that will support the new LinkedIn API. We'll still have the support for posting to Company Pages, but we think most users will be unable to use that feature going forward as the Marketing Developer Program for LinkedIn is not approved for most applications.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I created an application in the LinkedIn Marketing Developer Program and updated JFBConnect to 8.1.0.

When I try to authenticate by logging in to our site with Linkedin I get this error: Bummer, something went wrong. The redirect_uri does not match the registered value.

However, I have the Redirect URLs: www.edrgroup.com/ and www.edrgroup.com/log-in.html in the application.

What am I missing?

Regards,

Dave

Please check out our LinkedIn Application Setup Guide . Specifically, step 4a) which describes the proper URL format, which is like:
http://yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=authenticate.callback&provider=linkedin

I hope that helps, but if you still have issues, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Oops, I forgot that URL.
After updating the application URL I was able to log in via Linkedin, however I'm not in the list of users authenticated with LinkedIn.

If you're still having this problem - If you close the channel in the backend and re-open it again, is the list of LinkedIn users updated to include your user? If you navigate to JFBConnect backend > User Map, is your LinkedIn user in the list?

Still not able to publish the Linkedin channel. I was able to authenticate with Linkedin and the user is now available for the channel owner. But when I try to publish the channel I get this error: Cannot access user's LinkedIn company pages. Please save the channel and have the user re-authenticate on the front-end of the site. I've gone through this process several times.

The user for the channel is the admin in both the Linkedin business page and the app. When I log into the Joomla frontend with this account I allow 2 pages worth of syncing items.

Everything seems to be in order, yet I can't get the channel to connect.

We're investigating this further, but don't have a great answer for you at this time.

Can you confirm that your application has been approved for the LinkedIn Marketing Program? It likely has something to do with the updates to v2 of their API and their new requirements, but so few users have applied to the marketing program that we don't have a huge amount of details or datapoints to go off of yet.

Thanks,
Alex
