Hello,

I have 4 social networks associated to SC Login and all of them work in terms of clicking the icon except Facebook, nothing happens when you click it. Autotune and configuration all seem error free, is it something wrong with the API on Facebook side, and how would I troubleshoot that?

Thanks

The usual culprit for behavior like that is the applications are not set up correctly. Can you go step-by-step with our Facebook Application Setup Guide to verify that the Facebook application is configured correctly? Depending on how you've configured the flow in the JFBConnect backend > Configuration > Facebook section, there may also be problems getting the login windows to popup. If you have verified the steps in the guide, please provide a specific URL where I can see the behavior in action.

Hi Melissa,

I have sent you site details separately, I cannot find anything wrong, I really don't now what to do next?

Is there a way I can provide you access to the Facebook API to check?

Thanks

The issue you're running into here is likely related to your other post . The Facebook login process relies on Facebook's Javascript to be loaded onto the page. If something in your browser is stopping the social networks from loading, that would impact your Facebook login functionality as well.

Hopefully that helps you narrow down your issues, but if you still have issues, just let us know.

Thanks!

Hi Melissa, yes it seems to be related to the other post.

Everything works fine on Chrome but does not work on Firefox. Do you have any ideas?

Please see the other post. I don't have any immediate suggestions. It really seems like a browser setting or configuration issue, but I don't know how your browser is setup.

Try from other browsers and/or other unrelated computers to see if the issue persists.

Thanks,
Alex
