I have a Facebook Page Feed of all Facebook Pages I have 'liked' as a Page.

How do I embed the live stream of the posts in the Facebook Page Feed in a page on my website?

I tried looking at developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin but could not get it to work and assume i need to do it via the JFBConnect plugin?

You can use JFBConnect to display the Page Plugin you linked to. There are 2 simple ways:
* Create an instance of the SCSocialWidget configured as Facebook -> Page Plugin and fill in the details
* Add {JFBCFacebookPagePlugin href=https://facebook.com/link-to-your-facebook-page} anywhere in the output of your site.

That will show Facebook's own Feed plugin and get you going.

I hope that helps, but if you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you Alex, I created a SCSocial Widget Module in Admin and placed it in the Social/Page Feed sub-menu on the website.

It is linked to the Pages Feed part of the website Facebook Page but only the Cover appears, no stream items and I am not sure what is wrong.

I just went to the home page of your site and don't see the Page Plugin configured anywhere. Can you let me know where I should be looking?

The only suggestion I can give from your description is to make sure you have a large enough height specified so that the feed can be displayed.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Sorry I should have given you a link, PM sent with full access details.

I did try 600/600 and 1200/1200 for width and height but unfortunately no change.

Thanks for the credentials. For the SCSocialWidget setup, I updated the Page URL and removed the /page_feed/ part of the link. I don't think that was the problem, but that shouldn't be in the link.

As for your not seeing a feed, when I go to your Facebook Page, there aren't any posts there either. I see 2 entries about updating your cover and your avatar, but there aren't any actual status updates you've posted. Please create some updates and see if those properly show in your site. I think they will, but if not, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

If not logged into Facebook when viewing the page that is what i see (the cover photo and profile picture from 2014) but when logged into Facebook all posts are visible on the Facebook page including the last one I made a few minutes ago.

All posts on the page are made as the page (not as personal admin) and should be visible to everyone, including the new feed in the left hand column from the 102 other pages that i have liked (the page feed i am trying to get to appear on the website).

Are you not able to see any posts on the page at all?

An update to my last post Alex - I added a test post directly onto the page using the Status Update option and made it available to the public but it does not appear in the Page Feed Menu on the site.

All the other posts were made using a Website App created by following the JFB Facebook Application Setup Guidelines although I noticed it was still in Development Mode so turned it on to live and all posts are now visible to the public when not logged into Facebook.

However none of them show in the Page Feed on the website.

It is a puzzle, probably something simple but I do not know what it is.

Alright.. looks like we need to update the docs and tooltips in that module..

In the settings, there's a "Tabs" parameter. In there, add "timeline". Other options include "events" and "messages", so you could add something like "timeline, events, messages" if you want them all to display.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Thank you Alex, I used timeline and it works perfectly now.

Ref the Pages Feed for other Facebook Pages that I liked, is it correct that Facebook does not allow all the feed items to be shown in the same way as the timeline feed on a website (apart from embedding single posts) and the same restriction applies to Interest Lists?
