From the pictures above, I see you've created LinkedIn and Twitter applications and added them to the Configuration area of JFBConnect. What you need to do now is actually authenticate on your site with those accounts. To do that, enable the SCLogin module and use the LinkedIn or Twitter login buttons. Once you do that, JFBConnect will recognize those users and give you the option to select them as the owner of the channel you wish to create. You need to authenticate so that JFBConnect can have permissions to behave as that user to read and/or post to the feeds for that user.

If you haven't already, please make sure to go over the Social Channel setup guide which will hopefully explain further.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I'm probably dumb as a rock but I still can't get google+ linkedin or twitter to work. I did create a sl login module and logged in but all sites are indicating the uri is wrong. I can pm you creds to log into the site if you wish.

Your help, as always is appreciated.

Yes, please Private Message me credentials and send me pictures of the app setup pages for any social networks that aren't working and we'll gladly help look into it further. Also, let me know where the SCLogin module is enabled so we know where to test on your site.

You can PM me by clicking the mail icon under my name to the left.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I sent you a pm. The issues continue to be google and twitter. I cannot log on in the front end. I've checked the apps and the settings in jfbconnect and cannot figure out what is wrong.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the credentials. For Twitter, I can't understand what's going on. The 404 page gets loaded right away, but it's loading a Joomla article. Normally, Joomla doesn't load a content item when a 404 error page occurs. I think something is going wrong from the detection of a 404 but I'm not sure what's really happening. How is the 404 page being redirected to a content article?

If it's not the 404, then we'd need to get FTP access to the site to debug the issue further.

As for Google, right now it says the Client ID was deleted. Did you try to start the process over? Please create the Client ID again and we can investigate more. Regarding the Channels feature, we don't currently support posting to Google from JFBConnect so even if Google authentication works, you won't be able to setup a channel for it.

Thanks,
Alex
