We currently don't have a menu item type to launch the SCLogin modal popup window. It is in our issue tracker, but I don't have a timeframe on when we will be adding this functionality.
As a temporary solution, we do recommend using Modules Anywhere to accomplish what you're looking for. Please see our SCLogin Common Support Questions at
