Hi Alex,
I thank you for all efforts to implement in the new upgrade of JFBConnect the AUP XML files to create new rules to assign points for social activities.
I have a problem :
When I try trough the component of Alphauserpoint to create new rules with your 3 XML files it doesn't work and it says "XML FILE NOT VALID". This alert is displayed for all 3 XML files.
Any suggestions?
My Alphauserpoint component is the 1.5.13 (last version).

Hi Alex,
I tried to zip the 3 XML files and then I added each single new zip file as a new rule to AUP, but I have a problem displayed on the top of beckend :" invalid block side 321"

Not working JFBConnect with AlphaUserPoints and I have a competition with 500 fans in Facebook, Im sorry but upgrade to 4.2.0 and not conncet with the points application

Not only work in 3 xml files, all not working

I have enable points for registration and loggin daily and this work but all the rules with registred status not work

Julio,
The registration/login functionality is a part of AUP, not JFBConnect. Glad to hear that's working, but that was not part of our integration in this release. The AUP integration that we provide is for awarding points when a user Likes or Comments on content or sends a request to their friends.

If you're having issues installing the Alpha User Points files, we're working on a solution for that. If you're having issues installing the main component, please make sure you've unzipped the download you got from us and are installing the com_jfbconnect_...zip file. If you still have issues with that, please post in a new thread, as this one concerns integration for Alpha User Points, not the main extension itself.

Thanks for your fast ansewer.

I have installed my xml files since 2 years and working fine, I did upgrade to version 4.2.0 FBCConnect and firt my page are very very slow to charge, ok, this is ok, right now, but all the activity not get points for these.

Hi all,
at this stage I attend for Alex's solution...he can do it, not just Obama :)
I's a pit, I'm going live on the first of May and probably a lot of people there. I will still use Jcomments and post a news about future points with JFBConnect via Facebook. Anyway still hoping for a solution during the WE.
Waiting for Alex's team for good solution, it wouldn't be so hard, I guess.

Ughh.. Here's the fix for Joomla 1.5. Edit the XML files. At the top, you'll see a line like:
<alhapuserpoints type="plugins">
Please change "plugins" to "plugin" (singular).

Save and install the new XML file. Please let us know how that goes.
