Paolo,
That page is set in the Invite module. If you don't have a page called /thankyou, then you should update the "Inviter Thank You URL" to something else. For now, I'd suggest just your home page to see if that works. Later, if you want to redirect the user to a different page after inviting their friends, you can.

Argancel,
Oh Facebook... why? The Invite functionality has been notoriously bad. It's done through an iFrame to Facebook to prevent shenanigans, but they don't do the automatic resizing. Out of the box, their functionality does exactly what you see (chops off the right portion). There are a ton of threads on their developer pages trying to find solutions. Our module tries to compensate and automatically resize when it detects certain conditions.

With the background out of the way, it appears Facebook updated their iFrame slightly which broke the Invite module if you have the "Rows" value set to 3. Can you try updating the rows to 4 and see if that fixes it for you? We'll investigate getting 3 to work again, but in the meantime, hopefully that solution works.

The window is now ok with 4 rows, except on internet explorer. Thank you anyway, it parly solves the problem.
I see you are really struggling with this window, thanks for your devotion.

About the issue of the invite module which could not be clicked if a fan box was there. Actually I can't reproduce it anymore now. So you can forget this issue.
But a another worse issue happens :
When both the "invite module" and the "fan module" are there on IE8, the facebook connect button doesn't even show up, only the label is there, as you can see on this screenshot:

I send you the login and password to my test website by private message

Argancel,
Thank you for sending us your credentials! We heard about this issue on 2 other sites, but weren't able to test our solution for various reasons. I logged into your site and installed a new plugin that will be released with the next version (JFBConnect System) and the button now shows up. This plugin has no new features (yet), but it will in the future. It does include the Javascript library a little differently than the component, and that seems to fix the problem.

If you plan to go live, we can send (or install for you) the plugin. The Javascript library is actually now included twice, which could slow down page loads very minimally.. so we'd also remove that extra call the next time we get in there.

Anyways, please test. We didn't, we just looked to make sure all 3 modules appeared. Anyways, good luck, and thanks for all your feedback and patience!

Alex

Thanks for your support Alex!

I would indeed appreciate to have the JFBConnect System plugin, so that I can install it on the live website.

Also just another detail : I noticed there where some JText calls missing on some of your php files.
So I added them and created a language file for it: fr-FR.com_jfbconnect.ini
Here are the messages that should be implemented with JText, and my translations in french:
FACEBOOK PROFILE SUCCESSFULLY CONNECTED=Vous êtes maintenant connecté via votre compte Facebook
ERROR: THERE WAS A PROBLEM UPDATING THE MAPPING FOR FACEBOOK ID=Erreur: un problème est survenu pendant la connexion à votre identifiant Facebook
SUCCESSFULLY IMPORTED AVATAR FROM FACEBOOK=Votre avatar a bien été importé de votre compte facebook
THERE WAS AN ISSUE IMPORTING YOUR FACEBOOK AVATAR. THE DEFAULT AVATAR WILL BE USED=Il y a eu un problème lors de l'importation de votre avatar Facebook. L'avatar par défaut sera utilisé.

Hello,

I changed the "thank you url", as you suggested me, and the module works. Thank you! ;)
But I've a couple of problems with this module yet:
- in order to let it work (that is in order to see and click the "send" button), I'm forced to set it on "5 columns", as I explained you yesterday
- the module doesn't charge anything if I enable it in the same page where I set up my JomSocial Community.

Thankyou

Paolo ;)

Paolo, can you try updating the rows to 4? I explained above why this solution should work. It's worked on our demo site and on Argancel. We'll investigate fixing rows = 3 in the future.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and let us know what happens!
