Hello, it's Paolo from Firenze here again ;)
Your app is very very good but I've another question to ask you.
I installed the invite module, it works all but after clicking the send button I see the following message:
"404: Not Found. Sorry, but the content you requested could not be found"

Thank you again
Paolo

I forget another thing about the invite module: if I charge the module in the page of my jomsocial community, the module doesn't charge anything (I can see only the moving icon of charging that never ends)

Thank you

Paolo

Can you post (or private message) us a link to the page where the module is installed. It's usually a configuration setting that's wrong that causes all of the above, and we should be able to help you figure it out pretty quickly.

Hello,
here you are the link: www.mangiastorie.it/cose-mangiastorie.html (see at the bottom of the page, the module is in user 4 position of my template).

Another problem: as you can see, at the bottom of the page, when I click on "Send Mangiastorie invite", the windows that appear is only half of its total shape, and I can't send the invitation (I can't see and click the button "send").
Only if I set 5 columns I can see all the shape of the window with the "send" button. But it's too big for my template settings.

If you need I can send you how to acces in backend of my site as administrator (how can I write you in private way?).

Thank you
Paolo ;)

To make the window bigger, in the module parameters, set "Enable Automatic Resizing" to yes. It's our way of getting around Facebook's poor implementation.

Right now, I can't seem to login through JFBConnect on your site. I'm seeing the following Javascript error. This isn't from JFBConnect, but Javascript errors can cause JFBConnect to not function as they prevent our Javascript from running:
Error: syntax error
Source File: www.mangiastorie.it/
Line: 87, Column: 16
Source Code:
size: {x: , y: },

Your invite module is set to Registered only, so I can't see the output HTML until I can log in.

Strange, in the control panel of administration the invite module is set to "public"...

Is it possible?

Anyway, if you give a privete mail I send you the access data to backend admin panel...you should work better. Tell me if you need this.

Hi!

I have the same problem with the window of JFBCInvite not resizing:
www.picturze.com/a/noresize.jpg

And I DO have set the setting "Enable Automatic Resizing" to yes, as you can see on this screenshot:
www.picturze.com/a/jfbcinvitesettings.jpg

Also it is impossible to click on button "confirm" or "ignore".

And when I display jfbcinvite and jfbcfan on the same page, even the photos can't be selected (using internet explorer).

Can you fix these bugs?

Thank you!

Sorry, it wasn't set to registered. I just wasn't logged into Facebook, so it wasn't showing my friends.

I logged into Facebook, and reloaded the page. The 404 page you're getting is because you have the "Inviter Thank You URL" set to www.mangiastorie.it/thankyou. I think this page just doesn't exist on your Joomla site. Have you created this article, or whatever other content you might want, on this page? The Thank You URL can point anywhere (homepage, forums, or an article to say "Thanks").

Hope that helps!

Argancel,
We haven't heard of the problems you describe with the FanBox and Invite on the same page. We'll definitely look into it.

As for the resizing, can you provide a link to the page the Invite module is on? To do the resizing, we require mootools to be loaded. It's included in Joomla, but some templates try to strip it out. That'd be the first thing I look for. If that's there, I'll try to see if there's some other possible cause.

Thanks!

Thanks for you quick answer!

Here is the page where I have set my invite module:
developpementpersonnel.org/espace-membre/bienvenue

You will need to login with facebook to see it.

Normally my template loads Mootools by default on every page.
