Hanna,
Can you check a few things for me and hopefully we'll get you going soon.

* Does this only happen with our SCLogin module, or is it with the standard Joomla module as well?
* Can you disable the "Login Redirection URL" and "New User Redirection URL" in JFBConnect and see if that fixes the Login with Facebook process.
* In the SCLogin module, can you turn off the Login Redirection URL (or set it to "Same Page", depending on your SCLogin version)? That will hopefully fix the 404 error on logging in with Joomla credentials.

If disabling the redirection URLs fixes things for you, then try re-enabling them again but ensure that the menu item you're setting it to is *not* an alias or external URL type. There can be issues with redirecting to those types of menu items.

Hopefully that gets you going, but please keep us posted on how it goes.

Thanks,
Alex

this happens with any login module

Enable New User Redirection: is already set to no:
Enable Returning User Redirection: NO

Joomla Login Redirection URL: is set to same page now
Joomla Logout Redirection URL: the same

still having the same problem nothing changed

p.s i am using Kunena, jomsocial and k2 all integrated
i have installed the plugin for jomsocial integration, should i install also the one for k2 and kunena? maybe that is the problem ?

i have found one plugin that redirect url in jomsocial , i disabled it and now its working again.
problems: i dont see the login button by facebook always (i see it on mozlla but not on opera) still in mozilla its not always present

in the jomsocial homepage i see just login with username and password and i dont see anymore create account or forgot password etc..

in the registration by jomsocial i dont have login by facebook button (which i had before installing this extension and was redirected t other application on facebook which didnt take all info from user, it just took the name and lastname) is there anyway to get that button back to work but with the new application which takes all info ( by your app)

thanks for your time

Hanna,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to this. I'm glad you figured out the redirection issues, and happy to hear it wasn't a JFBConnect-specific problem. I hope you're ok with that plugin disabled, whatever it was, but if not, let us know and we can see if we can help you re-enable it or recreate the feature it was implementing.

For the Login with Facebook button on JomSocial, right now, you have to make a minor template override to add 'our' button to their home page view. You can read more about the change in our JFBConnect for JomSocial integration guide . In the upcoming JomSocial v3.0, the button will be automatically added as they are adding more automatic integration with JFBConnect.

The reason the Login with Facebook button isn't showing in all browsers is because some other extension is re-including the Facebook Javascript library and interfering with JFBConnect. This should have also Only one extension should be managing Facebook integration on the site. It looks to be the "VombieLikeButton" extension. You should replace that Like button with the JFBCLike button.

And finally, there seems to be an issue with redirections on your home page. This is not related to JFBConnect, but I wanted to point it out. Our Error Checker tool can't work on your home page because when it's visited, it responds with a 302 error code and then redirects the user to "/". That's incorrect behavior which will slow down page loads and could severly impact your SEO ratings. You can see the behavior by entering your URL into the header checker tool below:
www.internetmarketingninjas.com/header-checker/
You'll see the 302 followed by a 200, which is the correct code. You should contact your hosting company or technical department to investigate the cause of that.

Thanks,
Alex

Glad to hear we helped you with the original questions you had and you're moving now.

is there a way to show the like modules only to people that didnt like that page?
wts the code to add a like to a page in an article?

There's no way to 'hide' the Like button from users that have already clicked it. Facebook wants users to see that they already Like'd the page and also have the ability to un-Like it.

To add the Like button to an article, you can enable the JFBCContent plugin and configure the settings in the Social configuration area of JFBConnect. Alternatively, you can use the JFBCLike module or add the {JFBCLike} tag to the content of your article for maximum flexibility of where the button will be placed.

for that error, since long time i am looking for the reason why the site is slow and didnt resolve it.. this problem is frustrating me since long time
i have hosting with Godaddy, should i contact them?is that error from the server?

The error can be caused from a lot of things. A bad plugin on your site, an incorrect .htaccess file, or a server configuration problem itself. GoDaddy may be able to help you with that, but I just don't know since it could be caused by a lot of things.

i tried to configure the open graph, i did exactly as you say in your video, i didnt know what to write in the configuration and what should i change exactly in the facebook application. it still not working yet.

Can you tell me how you configured things and what object/action you're trying to configure? Also, try running the Facebook URL Debug Tool on a page that you've configured an object for. If Facebook can't scan it, you won't be able to post actions from it.

the application doesnt work on facebook page www.facebook.com/meddybear.net maybe for the reason that you have just mentioned before. facebook gives error and cant load my site. the url for the app is :

Your Canvas isn't working because you don't have an SSL certificate for your site. Facebook requires that your site use SSL as private user information can be passed to your site through the Canvas, and they want that encrypted. If you don't have SSL, the Canvas or Page Tag integration features will not work on your site. All other features of JFBConnect should though.

I hope that helps,
Alex

thanks again for your answer.
1) sorry i didnt specific but i wanted to ask about how to add like button for a page (on facebook) in an article and not the normal like.

2) i get the same error when i ckeck the debug page on facebook:
Response Code 302
Fetched URL meddybear.net/mbsocial.html
Canonical URL meddybear.net/mbsocial.html
Critical Errors That Must Be Fixed
Could Not Follow Redirect URL requested a HTTP redirect, but it could not be followed.

3)i just checked and my SSL is valid until: 05/17/2014 16:59:27 GMT , maybe it does not work for the same error?
