Oh yeah.. I added the JFBConnect User fatal error problem you mentioned into our tracker. It should be a part of an upcoming release so you don't have to deal with that going forward.

Thanks,
Alex

The social plug-in recognizes me as logged-in, but the sc-login does not, and it redirects to home with the appended facebook #_=_ until I get a flooding error.

I haven't updated the module. Is that causing the conflict?

It's always a pain to update the module because it over-writes the css changes.

[EDIT-1] I have the 4.2.1 module installed.

[EDIT-2]

1. I created a new fb user.
2. Process does NOT link fb.com user to domain.com joomla user. [EDIT-3] - FB user is not created in user nor jfbc user map.
3. The social plug-in recognizes me as logged in.
4. I get redirected back to url appending #_=_
5. I get a flooding error with the following url:

www.domain.com/component/com_jfbconnect/...ticate.callback/#_=_

For the SCLogin module, we have a whole theming system you can use to make sure you're CSS or PHP/HTML changes aren't overridden when you upgrade. For more information, see:
www.sourcecoast.com/sclogin/documentation/themes
We always recommend upgrading the SCLogin module when you upgrade JFBConnect. Actually, it's part of the upgrade process, so I'm not sure how you are installing JFBConnect *without* upgrading. If you're not using the JFBConnect installer, that itself could be part of the problem.

As to your other notes.. the URL and the 'flooding' message in general point to the fact that you're using another SEF extension, likely sh404SEF. You'll need to configure your SEF extension to 'skip' JFBConnect URLs. If that doesn't help, disable it altogether to test if that at least fixes the problem.

Beyond that, please let me know if this is happening on other sites and what site you're having issues with so we can test.

Thanks,
Alex

YUP.... it was a matter of configuring SH404SEF.

All solved.

Re: mod_sclogin, I usually make a copy of the css file and replace... but I will keep in mind how to configure per your instructions.

THANK YOU. Have a great weekend.
