I just logged into your backend and see that you're running CB 2.0.0.

There is a known issue right now with the user creation/profile import for CB and JFBConnect and it is more than likely your problem here too. I'm currently testing a fix and hope to have something out very soon.

Please check out my latest post in the following thread which has a link to a test version of our 'Social Profiles - Community Builder' plugin, if you'd to see if it helps with your issue.

Hi Mel,

Thank you - I have installed the plugin.

Can you please verify if it needs to be enabled and what the name is once installed ?

I have gone through all Plugins Installed and don't find anything that I need to Publish so I guess I have done it correctly.
It makes no difference to my Issue - Same thing is happening.
In Community Builder I still see no Profile and the error page when I Go to Profile is still there.

The name of the plugin is 'Social Profiles - Community Builder' under the 'socialprofiles' type. Can you also make sure that you are running on CB 2.0.1?

Also, please note that any users created with the previous version of the CB plugin will need to be 'synced' in the CB User Manager. Those users would not have been created properly by JFBConnect, but the 'sync' button will properly create the user in CB.

All new users, with this plugin, should be created properly.

If you're just testing with one specific account, you should try to delete it from your user manager and then try to re-register (login with Facebook) to see if the user was registered properly and that error about not being activated goes away.

Keep us posted. We have our fingers crossed..

HI Alex & Mel and thank you for your support so far! I really appreciate the great Support so far...

Ok it appears as though it might work now that I have followed your suggestions but I believe to see all this info in my CB Component I would need to go and have that FB App approved?

I have submitted for approval I just want your opinion on this please ?

Glad to hear things are working better with the update.

Ok it appears as though it might work now that I have followed your suggestions but I believe to see all this info in my CB Component I would need to go and have that FB App approved?

If you are asking for extended profile information "Education, hometown, etc", yes, you need to go through the approval process from Facebook to get that info from a general audience. However, you can test those fields right now with the Facebook Administrator of your app. When the admin logs in, you'll get a notice in the permissions popup that the fields need approval, but the admin is allowed to approve them (to test) and things will work. You'll only see that permission popup box once as the admin though, so if you already approved it, you won't see it again.

You can go to Facebook -> Down arrow -> Settings -> Apps and remove the app from your personal profile so you can test the permissions prompt again.

I hope that helps, but should you need anything else, just let me know!

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex, thank you for the prompt assistance.
Yes! this has in fact worked this time.... now the only way to get it to work for all other users would be to wait for the FB App to be approved right ?

Getting approval is a nightmare so I would like to go without it

a) Which fields would I be able to get without this Approval ?
b) How do I set these up in CB?

Then I would like to ask you - I am using your SCLogin with Modal Pop up.
Please can you advice which Code I would use if I want to make a Graphic and have the same Popup working on the front page ?

So example - I have make a menu Item with the URL : whatspotting.com/#login-modal ?
Or a Graphic with the URL : whatspotting.com/#login-modal ?

a) Which fields would I be able to get without this Approval ?

The public profile information that can be fetched from all users can be seen on the page below:
developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-lo...rence-public_profile
Mainly, it's that section and the 'email' fields. Most of the remaining fields can be shown on that page, but you can see all the fields that require review by looking at the fields with:

If your app requests this permission Facebook will have to review how your app uses it.

b) How do I set these up in CB?

I'm not sure what you mean by this. In general, CB lets you create fields you can use in a user's profile. JFBConnect will let you import into any text-type fields (non-radio, non-select, etc) type buttons. You can configure the import in the JFBConnect -> Profiles area.

Please can you advice which Code I would use if I want to make a Graphic and have the same Popup working on the front page ?

If you already have the SCLogin module implemented on the page, the link you provided should work on any graphic. If you don't have the SCLogin module showing on the page, add it to a module position. If you don't want the standard Login | Register buttons to show, you can use some CSS to hide those buttons while keeping the modal popup working when the graphic is clicked.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I have figured out the ComBuilder part and it is working.

1 New Issue : when I return to the site without clicking anything - it logs me in... This is unwanted because visitors will feel mislead - please can we get rid of that I am sending you Admin Details to have a look.

The Module on the Home page - I want to achieve the exact same thing as in the screenshot - please can you assist me to do this :
http://prntscr.com/50uydr

I have also just discovered SCLogin doesn't work on Mobile - We tested both iPhone & Samsung - is there a reason for this?
