Image sharing for google, Twitter and linkedin

There are some posts further down that show the full image and description too. Again, it's up to Facebook (likely somewhat weighted by re-tweets).

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. All social networks curate the feeds that user's see in some way. All you can do is give them as much information as you can to let their algorithms make the best decision about how to show it.
