Will remove the file when I have access to my server.

- break -

The SSL issue is fixed. Your point that it works on other sites lead me to remember that I have 2 SSL certificates installed. One on my server, and the other on the CDN. So I disabled SSL to run the error checker, and it worked! Again, many thanks!

Thanks for the update on the SSL check. We think there still is an issue with Autotune that we need to investigate because your SSL setup *is* good. It may just be too complex for our Autotune tool to tease out properly.

As for the SCLogin override, keep me posted on how that update goes. We'd love to see you going. In the next bug-fix release, later this week, we'll have an improvement to not fatal error out if you have an older template override, but you'll still want to integrate the changes from the new release back into your override.

Thanks,
Alex

I deleted the file, then received the white screen of doom (with error reporting on). I enabled error reporting, and no joy. I'm grabbing my php error log and will post relevant errors here.

Warm regards,

Scott

That's not a link that JFBConnect would be creating. I'm not sure what that is. From the link, it sounds like a component named "Mailto".

Is that related to the white page?

Keep me posted. Really want to get you going on this as you're run into enough troubles.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex:

Stab in the dark on the template, not related to JFBC, and adding the exception in my firewall did not clear the white-screen. I'm using Community Builder login so I'm able to login, but would love to have JFBC working.

When error logging is enabled, my server does not generate an error. I checked the server logs, and can't find anything.

Aside from that, everything passed the 'error check'. I really can't seem to figure out what is happening. Login credentials have changed..I will PM those in the event you are able to take a look.

Scott,
I just accessed the admin area. I'm very confused as to what's happening on your site. I tried disabling caching in the Joomla - Global Configuration area. Then, I tried enabling the SCLogin module and I did see the page 'break' for a few page loads. However, the screen was not completely white (not sure if that's what you saw), the template just seemed a little broken.

Then, a few page loads later, it started working again, and I'm not sure why. I couldn't see the SCLogin module though. Then, I added ?tp=1 to the URL, and I was able to see the SCLogin module in the top right corner, but again, I'm not sure why.

Finally, I tried disabling the CB Login module (titled "Login | Register"), but it wouldn't disappear. After that, I decided to stop since things were not behaving at all how I'd expect.

Do you have some other caching or something else going on on your site that would be preventing changes to take place? I re-disabled the SCLogin module, just in case, but the behavior I'm seeing is very strange.

Thanks,
Alex

I have disabled the CDN with caching *off* and the white screen of doom comes back.

I definitely can't recreate a white screen. I've attached an image of what I see when I enable the SCLogin module in position-7, module ID 295:
File Attachment:

The social login buttons do not appear to be showing in the SCLogin module, and I'm not sure why of that. However, if I edit the CBLogin module (ID 294) and in the Pretext field enter {JFBCLogin} all the buttons properly show there. That means the buttons still do work, but for some reason the SCLogin module isn't loading them. That could be an incorrect template override or something else, I'm not sure what.

I did disable the System - Cache plugin during my testing, but left Conservative caching on. Page Caching makes debugging things extremely difficult.

Please let me know if you are still having the same issue with the white screen, as I can't see that at all. Then we can decide how best to proceed.

Thanks,
Alex

I've tried various configurations and had it mostly working. The social login buttons would not render, and the registration would not work (settings were set for community builder registration). Then all of a sudden the SClogin broke my site.

I don't know what is going on, but the previous versions did not create this conflict. I need SSL and caching for overall site performance and cannot change these settings to have the login mostly work. At some point I'm going to have to cut bait and figure out some other alternative if I can't get the login working correctly and smoothly.
