Can you let me know the site you're testing from? The last site I see you've run Autotune from appears to be using JFBConnect v5.2.2. If you haven't run Autotune in a while, also please go through the steps there.. specifically the Site Check and Error Check tools.

Beyond that, please try:
* Turn the "Enable Debug Mode" setting "On" and see if any other messages appear when you try to login with Google.
* Disable all caching on your site, just in case those are causing issues.

Let me know if that helps, and good luck!

Thanks,
Alex

2) i am now getting " Your Subscriber ID was not associated with an active JFBConnect subscription. " - whats this all about ?

1) When you enable the Debug setting in JFBConnect, there are extra messages that can show up in the system messages output (usually in a blue/yellow/red box above your component area). That may show messages as to why the authentication doesn't work. Those messages are hidden from standard users normally and only show when trying to debug things.
2) Go to the My Account -> My Subscriptions area and double check your Subscriber ID that you entered into the component. It's possible your subscriber ID changed or is incorrect.
3) When you move to a live site, it's still recommended that you re-run Autotune. The recommendations for your Facebook settings are based on the URL of your site, which I'm assuming was 'localhost' on your dev system. Additionally, there are some server checks to ensure there are no configuration issues with Apache or other lower level things that may have changed on your server.

Let me know if you find any error messages when authenticating, and we'll gladly help however we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex

1) im still not getting debug messages (sef and caching switched off and debugging on for both your com and joomla) !!
2) thansk sorted
3) i ran that and all ok

any ideas how we can resolve this ?

what do you mean by " Those messages are hidden from standard users normally " ? you mean that debugging has to be switched on ?

Hi cliffordsean,

which settings do you use in JFBConnect in Profile?
I had a lot of troubles to get Google+, Twitter and Linkedin to work.

In backend go to JFBConnect and then click on profiles.

At Profiles Import try following settings:

Always import Profiles: NO
Import Avatar: YES
Import Cover Photo: YES

I think there´s some mismatch or a small bug here. Since I took this settings I had no problem to Login with Google+, Twitter and Linkedin.

Tell me, if this settings work for you.

Greets, Karl

Hi Karl many thanks for the info

however id say i may have found where the root of the issue is further to your info

when i go to JFBConnect and then click on profiles.

all i get is this : screencast.com/t/QugAbiIA2tA

as you can see there is no Import option like you said - why would that be ?

many thanks again
