Poteto,
Facebook, Google+ and Twitter login already works with JomSocial 3.1.

For full setup instructions, please see our JomSocial social network integration guide which will hopefully answer any questions you have.

If that doesn't help, can you let me know what is, or isn't, working as you'd expect?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your reply !
I could set up the Facebook login function with JomSocial 3.1.
But I could not set up the Twitter login function.

I mean that after user click the Twitter icon, the following screen is displayed.

File Attachment:

In the Facebook login, after login, user go to the JomSocial top page directly.
In the Twitter login, after click the Twitter icon, login process cannot be finished and the following screen is displayed.

I want you to explain how I can set up the Twitter login function like Facebook.
I want user to login and go to the JomSocial top page directoly with 1 click.

Sincerely,
Poteto

Twitter always has to go through a registration flow. There is no way for JFBConnect to fetch the user's email address from Twitter. They don't allow that. Because of that, JFBConnect has to ask the user for more details when they register.

You can set the registration flow in the Configuration -> General area of JFBConnect. You can have the user register using JFBConnect (the image you show above) or go through the JomSocial registration flow. You can also configure specific settings in the JFBConnect registration flow, like whether to show the username and password fields. With those options, you can make the registration flow only ask for the user's email address, since that's all JFBConnect can't get or create for the user.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

No problem for the explanation. I'm glad we could help. Should you need anything else, please just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
