As in Subject...
For the first look everything looks fine. Auto-tune complete, everything is green...
Unfortunately I cannot add any object or action.
First of all - on dashboard I have this: "Error
Facebook Application information not found. Please run AutoTune to fetch your settings."
Each attempt to add any action / object fails with message: Error: Information is required about your Application for Open Graph to function. Please run Autotune configuration tool. to fetch your settings.
I have no idea what's wrong.
Could anybody help me with this configuration?
All I need

action "read" - object: article (Easyblog)
and upload picture / album to Jomsocial

to be shared on user's timeline automatically.

Jeezzz... It took ages to find the problem with Easyblog. Thanks to people described the issue on forum. Error messages solved.
There's one thing I cannot still achieve: uploading pictures to jomsocial are sent to Fb with no error but also - without thumbnail (on facebook).
Any ideas?

Witold,
Glad you made some progress. If there was any confusion within JFBConnect that we could make clearer, please let us know. Autotune is definitely critical to some features as that's what gets information about your Facebook Application, which is necessary for OG Actions. If it wasn't clear that Autotune needed to be run, or how to do so, let me know.

As to the action not posting the photo, can you let me know what version of JomSocial you're using? Also, would it be possible to post (or Private Message) the URL of a JomSocial photo page that you're trying to have posted? That will help us check the OG tags and understand what may be going wrong.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex

Thanks for replying. I'd suggest it might be much easier for OG newbies to have some tutorial. Basically configuring object and actions is quite simple. But for a first time - it's a dark forest. By tutorial I mean some basic functions like upload photo, share read article and so on... something pre-configured... or these objects and related actions could be retrieved from FB app? BTW on video tutorials some FB screenshots are outdated and it's quite confusing for a very first time to figure out what to do.

Unfortunately I was unable to use standard FB action news.reads - and I have no idea why. Finally I've created custom action which works fine.
Yet another suggestion: step-by-step guidelines how to submit stuff to Facebook for revision. I found your tutorial quite helpful, but still, for someone (like me) doing that things for a first time, it's still too complex. FB asks questions and sometimes it is difficult to give appropriate answers :)

Btw I'd like to share Polish language file. It is almost finished.
Unfortunately it seams only image files can be attached... :( (deeply sad)

Witold,
We do have a new Open Graph Action configuration guide . It's still being worked on a little for the new v5.1 release, but it should explain all the settings. The old guide should no longer be accessible, so if you're seeing old pics, please let us know where they are.

One of the pages we'll be adding (hopefully over the next few days) is a screenshot guide of configurations for different objects/actions that we support. The guide will have all the text to explain everything, but the screenshot guide should be an easy method to copy settings directly into your site.

The idea of a configuration wizard or pre-defined object/action pairs that can easily be created is a great idea, and something we want to investigate for a future release, but would definitely take a bit of time.

Unfortunately I was unable to use standard FB action news.reads - and I have no idea why. Finally I've created custom action which works fine.

Can you let me know why you couldn't use the news.reads action? I'd love to hear more.

Yet another suggestion: step-by-step guidelines how to submit stuff to Facebook for revision. I found your tutorial quite helpful, but still, for someone (like me) doing that things for a first time, it's still too complex.

We'll be updating the Action Submission and Approval document over the next few days with more information and tips on submission. Sorry for the troubles you've had.

Finally, for the Polish translation, we manage all of our translations through our Transifex project. If you're on there, or want to join, you can submit the file there. If not, feel free to email it to me at support at sourcecoast.com We really appreciate the contribution and will get it in an upcoming release.

Thanks,
Alex
