Hi Alex,

For the pages using the PDF icon, can you tell me more about those pages:
* Are those Joomla articles?
yes all are Joomla Artikel
* Where is the image being set? Is the image in the article text, is it set as the 'image' parameter in the right sidebar, or are you using something else to add the image to those pages?
The image is the "Einleitungsbild" introduction Picture it was automaticly set in the top auf the article

Michael,
I can see what's going wrong on that page. The image being used is:

www.fotoreise.info/images/einleitungsbilder/IMGP1512.jpg

That's the intro image and can be seen on the category layout view:
www.fotoreise.info/index.php/fotoreisen-und-fotoworkshops
In the main article though, the main image is different and JFBConnect isn't using that one properly.

Does that sound right to you? So, it seems that our detection is mostly working, but could use an additional check for intro vs full page view.

Alex,

yes it is a possibility but it is starnge in one of the article it works fine and in the next he shows the wron picture.

It is at it is and we must live with the Issue. If we past a Picture directly into the page it works fine.

This is not he best way but it is one way to fix it into the future for us. Now we are online with our new page and looking forward for your new updates and products

Michael,
We'll agree that the "Full Article Image" should be used as the Open Graph image, and right now, that may not be the case. We'll investigate that and fix it.

However, from the above, I can't tell if you're still getting other wrong images, like the PDF icon. From the few pages I saw, there was always a 'good' image, though it may have been incorrect and using the intro text image. I never saw the PDF icon anymore.

Just want to make sure things are better, though maybe still not perfect.

Good morning Alex,

this is the result from Today. See the Pic in the attachment

Here you can see the PDF like the past.

Oh sorry this wa s the like funktion. Here is the same Issue. Paralell we will give a comment of this and other pages. We see the pdf icon too not any pic of the page.

If we get the hook "public on FAcebook" and the Facebookuser like me are not logged over FAcebook in on our Page over JFBConnect , the comment was not postet in FAcebook.
If he log in it works sporadic. often he must in a second step the posting give free.

We are a professionell company. this is the reasen why we buy professionell Components for Joomla and dont work with Free-Software. But we have invest here many Times to check, fix or other thinks. We see your work and your will to help us.

We give you the possibility to get a support acoount to look in our backend. i think here is a incompatibility with other components the reason for all.

Send me a PN and we send the acoount ASAP.

I just ran that page through the Facebook URL Debug Tool and the proper image was detected.

Then, I clicked the Like button and the correct image was showing for me there as well, as seen in the image below:

When you update the Open Graph tags, like when you enabled the Open Graph - Content plugin, it can take a few days for Facebook to 'see' the changes. Either run those pages through the Debug Tool, or wait for Facebook to re-scan your site.

It seems like things are working properly on your site now though.

Hi Alex,

yesterday, i think before you have take a look to our Page. I installed a Opengraf Aktion like your Example. And than it works mostly 95%.
We switch in the Action the picture Support and this runs now. We installed a FB demouser over FB too and works with him.

It is possible that this has fix the issue in the Background ? ;-)

Yes, installing our Open Graph plugins could be fixing this issue. That's their purpose. It sounds like things are going for you now, but if you need anything else, just let us know.
