I didn't realize you had JLinked also installed on that site. Can you try disabling the JLinked System plugin and see if the bad text goes away then? If so, re-enable the JFBCSystem plugin and verify it's still gone. That will narrow it down to JLinked and will be a big help to figure out what's going wrong.

Thanks,
Alex

Iveth,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to this. A bit confused as to what's happening, and we don't deal with Joomla 1.5 sites that much anymore, so it takes a bit more investigation.

It sounds like you need both the JFBCSystem and JLinkedSystem plugins disabled for the funny test to disappear. Is that correct? Let's leave JLinked disabled for now. Can you re-enable the JFBCSystem plugin and then try the Strip Tags from Header setting both on and off and see if that helps.

I lost the link to the Joomla 1.5 page with the issue in this thread. Not sure if you removed it, or sent it to me through PM, but I can't find it in either place.

We'll keep trying to get to the bottom of whatever's happening, but it's definitely perplexing. The next steps would honestly be to have you start editing code to delete/comment out features and see which one is causing the conflict.

Thanks,
Alex

Iveth,
Sorry I missed your post from before. I'm not sure why you're seeing that with the newest release, but it's only happening on pages where there is an HTML tag in the title. For example, on the page you linked to, in the browser titlebar there's a <br/> which is causing the text after that tag to display at the top.

To investigate further, I accessed the admin area of your site and tried disabling both the JFBCSystem and JLinkedSystem plugins. However, when I did that, everything behaved as if they were still enabled.. the Open Graph tags were still added to the page, the Facebook Javascript library was still included on the page, etc. Do you know why or how the page is being cached and not updating immediately when I disabled those?

If you disable both of those system plugins, does the tag go away? If so, does it immediately go away, and if not, why not?

Thanks,
Alex
