In the Joomla 1.5 version, please try going to the Configuration -> Misc section (I believe) and disable the "Strip Easy-Tags from Header" setting. That may fix the issue. The code what was causing your issue in Joomla 2.5 simply isn't in Joomla 1.5. We don't have anything similar to that in Joomla 1.5. So, whatever is causing you issues is a completely different feature that we'd have to narrow down.
If that setting above doesn't fix the issue, the next step is to disable the JFBCSystem plugin so we can take a look at the page to see what it looks like originally and what our system plugin is incorrectly altering.

In Joomla 3, we tell Joomla itself to load the shared jQuery and Bootstrap files. We don't include our own copies of those files. The shared libraries are meant to ensure that no other extension or template has to load jQuery. However, on your site is the following at the bottom of the page:

}That line is re-loading an additional copy of jQuery. That shouldn't be necessary and should be removed.
