I am running the latest (v8.4.6) JFBC and as far as I know it has been working.

Yesterday I get a FB message from a user that said they weren't able to login so today I checked myself and sure enough I can't login either. At first I get a message about failing to retrieve group info via the API or something to that effect. I currently get this message in a popup:

"Invalid Scopes: groups_access_member_info, publish_to_groups. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions"

I have gone in to my app settings and don't see anything broken, but I am admittedly not a FB app expert. If I close this popup it goes back to my website's login page as if nothing happened. I have tried it in Firefox and Chrome,. but it had previously worked fine in either. All the other networks below still work fine:

Any suggestions on what I can look at to fix this?

Facebook has introduced an "App Type" for each application. In order to get the scopes it's warning about, you'll need to be in the Business app type or the "Something else" type. Check out our Facebook App Setup Guide for descriptions of each app type.

Right now, if you select Business App, some scopes may be limited for fetching profile data. If you're doing this on your site, you'll need to pick something else.

Let us know if you have questions as this feature is new and slightly confusing as we migrate to it.
