Hi guys,
Facebook Developer > App > Settings > Basic > User Data Deletion : Data Deletion Callback URL / Data Deletion Instructions URL

1 - Please, Does JFBC manage the Callback URL for data deletion ?
(I'm thinking when user are connecting their Socials)

2 - OR, Should we handle them with instructions URL ?
Please, Do you have any suggestions about the Article content ? What would be the manual cancellation process (in special from JFBC point of view) ?

JFBConnect does not specifically handle an app callback right now. It's on our to-do list.

From the JFBConnect standpoint, we allow the user to authenticate and then map profile data from Facebook to their profile extensions (e.g. JomSocial). The user can easily delete the mapping from the front-end if you create a menu item for JFBConnect - Account Settings view. We should create the callback in JFBConnect to do the same unmapping that's on this view.

Regarding profile data that is imported in other profile extensions, we have to consider that as separate from JFBConnect and rely on those extensions to provide the mechanism to delete those pieces of data.

I wanted to circle back to this as I'm working on the next release. I was mistaken. Looking at the code, the deleteData callback was something that I already implemented earlier this year.

In your FB app, set the Data Deletion Request URL to a value like the following:
yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=deleteData

I'll update the app setup guide.

Hi Mel,
many thanks for the info, I'm going to set it up, but I'm not sure about the link I have to enter,
Please, What do you mean with the three dots "..." ?
Please, Can you repeat what is exactly the Delete Data link I have to enter ?

PS Maybe for next release:
A - What is interesting here is the: "...You can implement this callback in any language...", So the used language could be by depending the Language set by the User into its profile and, if not set the Joomla default frontend language. (I do not like to look at the language browser setting)
B - Being that "...Failure to comply with these requirements may result in your callback being removed or your app being disabled..." Would be good to add this setting int the Auto Tune checking

The format for the data deletion request URL is found in our updated Facebook Application Setup Guide .

The API to set Facebook Apps does not expose an delete data endpoint, so this is not available to Autotune.

Hi Mel,
many thanks!

Maybe, would be good just an alert during the Auto Tune to remember it...
