Walter,
No worries. We're here to help
There's a few different things you're asking for, so I'll break each one down:
Posting to your own Facebook Page
This is done using our Channels feature. Once setup, you can have JFBConnect automatically post content from supported components (Joomla articles, EasyBlog Posts and others) to any of our supported social channels (Facebook Pages, Groups or Profiles, Twitter Streams or LinkedIn Company Pages). Additionally, from the social toolbar that JFBConnect displays to admins, you can manually push any page directly along with a description to multiple Channels at once.
For full details on how to set this up, please see our
Channel Setup Guide
For users to Share content, you'll want to use the Facebook Like or Share button to your content. This can be done in multiple ways:
* The SCSocialWidget lets you configure the Facebook Like or Share button to display in any module position
* The SCSocialShare module lets you setup a few different sharing buttons in any module position. It can also be configured to 'float' like shown at the bottom of this page so it can work with any component.
The
Facebook Canvas is a way to show your website within Facebook. Many sites honestly don't need this. However, it can be helpful since users may feel more comfortable if it seems like they haven't left Facebook altogether. From a site perspective though, it's usually better to not go through the Canvas area and simply bring users to your site.
One other thing that may be helpful is the
Facebook Page[/url]. With this, you can show your site, or a specific URL from your site, in your Facebook Page. It will show in the menu list on the left side of your Page. This is useful if you have an Events calendar, shop, newsletter signup or other things you want to show within your Facebook Page without making people leave your Page. For an example of that, see our Facebook Pages' Page Tab:

I hope that helps with a quick overview, but if you need anything else or help setting up the above, just let me know.
Thanks,
Alex
