Both Mel and I work support. If you PM'd her specifically without letting us know a message was coming, then it would have to wait until she's back. She's been out for Labor Day in the US, which means I'm mostly manning the ship right now.

For fastest responses, post the problem here in the public forums, which helps us and others find it. It also helps other users in case they're having the same problem. Then, PM us any sensitive details for that post if necessary. Just let us know in the forums that it's coming so that either of us can look at the PM (we can look at each others, if we know to look there).

With that said, I just looked at your message:

Hi,

I found another issue related to auto post easyblog contents to different FB pages.
I setup each easybog category will post to one FB page

but this is not working correctly. easyblog category A should post to FB A. easyblog category B should post to FB B. but the fact is easyblog category A will post to FB A, some to FB B.

I removed the 2 links to your admin configuration, though nothing in there seemed too sensitive as it was JFBConnect configuration pages.

Either way, this issue isn't something we've heard of before. Can you let us know:
* What version of EasyBlog you're using?
* Is the blog post being posted into multiple categories (A and B or more), or just into Category A?
* Why are you using the Open Graph - Custom Object type instead of EasyBlog - Post? The EasyBlog - Post type will let you specify the types of posts and category you want to use?
* If you have to use Custom Object for some reason, what are the settings you're using for the object in JFBConnect?

Thanks,
Alex

* What version of EasyBlog you're using?
latest ver 5.1.12

* Is the blog post being posted into multiple categories (A and B or more), or just into Category A?
I have an easyblog post in category A ONLY. when auto post to channel, the blog will be posted to FB channel A and channel B. Channel B Autopost Objects setting is B ONLY (did not select A at all, why it is posting to channel B?)

* Why are you using the Open Graph - Custom Object type instead of EasyBlog - Post? The EasyBlog - Post type will let you specify the types of posts and category you want to use?
I have no idea what you are talking about. As my understand for my use case that I want to auto post each easyblog category to different FB page. I first create object for each easyblog category, then in each channel setting, select the related Autopost Objects as below. I will not be able to achieve my use case if I don't create object for each easyblog category. also there is nothing in the Autopost Objects list if I don't create them. (or I am misunderstood something here?)

* If you have to use Custom Object for some reason, what are the settings you're using for the object in JFBConnect?

Can you take a screen capture of your Open Graph - Objects listing page? Your Action setup shows that you're using "Custom Object" but the Object setup you're showing is for an EasyBlog Post type. I think you may have mixed up the Object that you're trying to trigger the action from.

Any more details you can provide, like a screen capture of your Object configuration page or even the object listing page should help us sort things out.

Thanks,
Alex

You have a lot of objects in that list that are all "Easy Blog - Post" objects. However, in the Action configuration, under "Autopost Objects", it clearly shows "Custom Object" as the type of object you're associating the action for.

You need to scroll through that list in the Autopost Objects section and select the correct "Easy Post - Post" object for the action to work for. It needs to be the Easy Post - Post object for the correct EasyBlog category that you want articles to post from.

I hope that helps explain further,
Alex

I am getting confused. all easyblog objects created here www.screencast.com/t/hFZDuQHZ , would show as custom object in Autopost Objects list here www.screencast.com/t/xBz1Sf9UyIr

there is no other easyblog post objects in in Autopost Objects.

Alright.. I apologize for the confusion. Your images above have the name masked out on some and others they are showing, which caused me to mis-understand some things.

In discussing with Melissa, you're correct, the Objects all show "Custom Object - XXX". It looks like you may have things configured properly, but it's difficult to tell from the screen shots alone.

Can you send us administrator credentials so we can investigate further? We will need the following information to make any headway:
* Super admin credentials to the site
* The action and object name(s) or IDs you are working with that has issues
* The action name(s) or IDs you are working with that work as expected
* The URL of pages that work (post to the right category)
* The URL of pages that don't work (post to the wrong category)

Once we have access, we can test and investigate the configuration further to understand what may be going on.

Thanks,
Alex
