You don't have an active subscription to JFBConnect. Therefore, you won't be able to download the package. You will need to renew your subscription first.

Since your subscription is expired, you'd need to renew at the full rate. We offer a 30% discount on renewals if you do so while you're subscription is still active. Your subscription expired in January, so you've already 'saved' more than 30% that the discount would have provided.

The discount is mainly because users that keep their subscription up to date require less support. As a thank you, we pass that discount along when you renew.

I hope that helps explain. If you choose to get a new subscription, you'll be eligible for the discount in ~6 months again.

Thanks,
Alex

The jfbconnect_user_map table is the database table that maps the social network users to the corresponding Joomla users. This table persists through upgrades and is not altered. You should just be able to use the Joomla backend Extension Manager to "Upload Package File" and select the zip to install, without having to worry about FTP and unzipping the contents into the right places yourself. We'd recommend doing the installation to upgrade anyways, as sometimes there are changes to our database tables such as new tables, new columns, etc that you wouldn't pick up if you were manually adding the files yourself.

Yes, you can. Your subscriber ID likely hasn't changed. Just verify its the same in the JFBConnect -> Configuration area.

Once that's set, you can use the Joomla updater to grab the latest version and things should update automatically. We always recommend creating a backup first, just in case something goes wrong, as well.

Thanks,
Alex

ok i updated the component now thank you so much for your assistance and by the way i got this when i made the error check Test: JFBCSystem plugin is enabled
Fail: Not Detected! Please enable in the Site Config area of Autotune or in the Joomla plugin manager.

If the JFBCSystem plugin is enabled, but you still get this error, please check:
Your site is not in Offline Mode. If so, turn your site Online and re-run the Error Checker.
If you have a 'mobile template', disable it and re-test
Some templates have their own Facebook integration, and actively try to remove other Facebook extensions files. Try a different template.

No further tests can be run until fixed.
will it affect the facebook login because i can't disable the mobile version since its already made in the template so should i worry about that?

The plugin isn't be detected because JCH Optimize is compressing and minifying the page contents. Because of that, the scan of your HTML isn't detecting what we normally expect.

I'd recommend running Autotune and setting up JFBConnect with JCH Optimized disabled. Once things work as expected, then re-enable JCH Optimize and ensure nothing breaks. Many, many sites use JCH Optimize and JFBConnect together, but you still need to verify things as overly aggressive optimization settings can cause some unexpected behavior.

I hope that helps explain, but if you need anything else, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
