To set the module to have a modal popup, set the SCLogin > Login View Settings tab > 'Login View Settings' option to "Modal Popup". You may also want to experiment with the "Modal Popup" option as well.

We need more details from you about what you've tried to configure and how it isn't working.

For the Logout button, for instance, there is an option to not display the logout button. That will hide that from the drop down you display in your document.

There is also a "User Menu" option in SCLogin where you can display a Joomla menu item from your site. That can have links, like we do above, for the user's account, special pages or a direct logout button. To create a Logout button in the menu item, see our Common Support Questions area. Specifically, "How can I add direct links to Logout in the User Menu."

Finally, for changing colors or other styling, we have a full Theme system you can use to create your own styles and colors for any feature in the SCLogin module. For more details, see our SCLogin theme guide which explains how to override any of our output.
