That's common if the user hasn't granted that permission. To fix, they must login on the front end after the channel is saved so that the correct permission will be requested. The selected user has not granted the "manage_pages" permission. Please have them login on the front-end of the site and accept the correct permission.
You wouldn't really set it up for 'normal' users. The idea is that, say you have a client that isn't or doesn't want to be an admin on the site.. you can still setup a channel for them so that posts can go automatically to their Facebook page. It's not meant for every user on your site because the social toolbar generally shouldn't show to registered users, but there are cases where the developer/site admin needs to get additional channel permissions from a user and doesn't want/need to make them an admin just to do so.Let me understand this,. if I set up channels for regular users, then they can post to their Facebook Pages like we post to ours. What is the advantage of that over clicking the Share button?
Anyone can add your Facebook Application to their Page. You just have to explain the process of how to do it and they can set it up on their own.I Have created the Join Us page tab on our Facebook page that allows people to sign up for our Newsletter without having to leave Facebook I also wanted to install that Join Us page tab on other peoples Facebook page, so providing channels to registrants on the website sounds like something along those lines.
