Hello,
I'm having troubles configuring the LinkedIn Social Stream. I setup LinkedIn app per instructions here: www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/soci...in-application-setup
Then I've tried logging in with SCLogin to to add the user but doesn't seem to work … keep getting a message from LinkedIn to login and that client is disabled and when I try to login, nothing happens.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Nick

Could you give me the exact wording of the error message that you're receiving when you say "client is disabled"?

If possible, could you also provide a specific URL where I can see the behavior in action? Sometimes looking at the error console and network activity in the developer console area can help with these problems easily?

That's strange. We've actually never seen that error before.

I would make sure that the Client ID and Client Secret that you've set in the JFBConnect backend > Configuration > LinkedIn tab matches a valid application in your LinkedIn Developer Apps area . Did the application get deleted at some point? Is there a typo in the ID or Secret?

If the application is still present and you said that you've set up the application according to our LinkedIn application setup guide , then could you attach screenshots of your application setup from the LinkedIn app area (just leave out any client secret as this is a public forum).

Strange as all of the info was correct in configurations. But then I tried deleting the LinkedIn app and creating a new one. That seemed to do the trick as it's up and running now. Thanks for all your help! Best regards, Nick

Strange. Everything I found on google relating to that error was regarding something being wrong with the application, so I'm glad that helped point you in the right direction. Let us know if you run into any other strange behavior.
