You'd need to configure your application in the Facebook Developer Area . We don't have a tutorial for this as their portal changes pretty much constantly, making it very difficult to make documentation for it. It's one of the main reasons we implemented Autotune, which reduces confusion. All the settings in Autotune are in the Developer area though, and you'll just need to configure whatever settings are giving you issues there.

After you configure, Autotune will still display the 'old' values that have been cached from the last successful Autotune run. That's ok though, the most important thing is that the Facebook App is configured properly.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Could you tell me the exact error? Are you encountering it in the Facebook application area or on your website? If on your website, is it right when you hit the login button or ater you register?

Generally, when you have an incorrect URL, it is for one of the following fields in your app:
* App domains
* Site URL
* Valid OAuth redirect URIs

Also, if you have any component on your website altering URLs, such as an SEF extension, this could cause some issues.

Thanks for your reply guys.
I did make some changes and the URL ERROR showed up when i clicked the CONNECT button after i click the FACEBOOK button in the login window.

I thik i got it straightened out but ill keep tabs on this topic to make sure i drop any errors in here.

The problem was ON MY WEBSITE and yes i did have to alter a couple URLs in the APP manager on Facebook

We're glad to hear you got things going. Usually, once an app is setup using Autotune, it shouldn't need to be re-configured again. Of course, if you change your domain or make other sweeping changes to the site, some tweaks may be necessary.

If you need anything else, just let us know. We hope to see you back as an active subscriber in the future as well.

Thanks,
Alex

I found the issue. Its a Joomla Cache issue

This error restricts the users BROWSER from getting into the DOMAIN in question where it was viewed.
First you need to be able to get back into the DOMAIN so
(In your browser you must delete your recent history as well as CACHE) Try setting this to "The past hour" at first

Then log into the ADMIN area of the Joomla domain installation

Next go into, SYSTEM > CLEAR CACHE

Find the cache file that is "now an old one" called (JFB_connect)

Just as a safety i also removed the cache file for _component as well as a couple others
Click DELETE once you have those items selected

Now open a new window for the Joomla front end
Click the JFB Login
Click the FACEBOOK Connect button

thats it........ now the joomla page you need should be loading.
Fill in the appropriate info and away you go.

Hmm.. We haven't heard of that Bad Request error before, and not sure what would be stored in our JFBConnect cache that would cause the problem. Either way, I'm glad you found the issue. If you run into it again, let us know. We'll gladly investigate what could be the cause further on our end, but for now, I'm stumped.

Thanks, and good luck,
Alex
