Windows Live was created by sclaggett
We have recently tested Window Live and we are not sure if there is a bug or not.

We use the login button for two user is two ways.

First we had the user login normally and then use the social button to associate the window live account. No error fly, it does something but the user count does not change. It stays at 0 for windows live and the button shows upon the return in the user menu. With twitter once logged in it goes away.

Second we logged out and had the user login with the windows live button only. We got the appropriate authentication request to allow access etc. processed but the end results were the same as above.

What are we missing here?

I just tried to authenticate on your site using Windows Live and am getting an error that Microsoft is unable to complete the request. In the URL is the following message:

The+provided+value+for+the+input+parameter+'redirect_uri'+is+not+valid.+The+expected+value+is+'login.live.com/oauth20_desktop.srf'+or+a...s+client+application

Can you double check that you followed step 5 exactly for your site in the Windows Live application setup guide ? If you did, please let us know what values you set in that step so we can verify further.

Thanks,
Alex
