The two different ways that you're referring to for posting content or status to Facebook are completely different. The 'Create Post' button uses the Channels you've set up in the JFBConnect backend to post to Facebook Pages and Groups. We also support posting status updates from your JomSocial streams to your personal Facebook pages. Your description is too vague for me to understand which you are trying to use.

In general, if you're having problems with either of those:

Through our Channels features to Pages and Groups

I use "create a post" button, it says that post is on FB now. But there is nothing on FB page

Our Channels feature is intended for posting to Facebook Pages and Groups, not personal FB profiles. Please open the Channel you've created in the backend to see if there are any errors and if you have any data in the test stream.

Through JomSocial activity stream to a Personal Facebook Page

I also tried to do this via Jomsocial. Plugis is set up and activated. I go to JFBConnect > Profiles > ... but there is NO JomSocial tab there

If you are using JFBConnect for Facebook and have set JomSocial's setting to 'Use SourceCoast's JFBC', then configuring any of the Facebook settings in JomSocial will have no effect. It sounds like you have not enabled JFBConnect's 'Social Profiles - JomSocial' plugin. Once you do, you will be able to configure our settings for pushing JomSocial status to Facebook
1. Enable JFBConnect's 'Social Profiles - JomSocial' plugin.
2. In the JFBConnect > Profiles > JomSocial tab, please turn on the 'Import Social Network Status' option to get the status from Facebook to JS and the 'Push Social Network Status' option to push JS messages to Facebook.
3. Please note, that these actions require extended permissions from Facebook. Therefore, if you have not submitted your application through Facebook's approval process yet, you will need to log in on your site the admin of your Facebook application to test that this is working.
4. Additionally please note that only public posts in JomSocial are pushed to Facebook, so make sure to set the correct privacy setting on your new posts while testing.

Please provide more details on the behavior you want to see, where you want the messages to be posted to (Page or Personal Profile), etc so that I can help narrow down how to help you.

Melissa, I mean posting for FB Group. I've checked the Channel setting, everything looks good and activated. I try to post again from front-end, I use "create a post" button, it says that information is posted on FB. But there is nothing on FB Group page. - It is the first problem

I would like also use Jomsocial in the future for other purpose. Plugin is set up and activated. BUT I go to JFBConnect > Profiles > ... but there is NO JomSocial tab there. The only tab there K2 and no others tabs - It is the second problem

Karina,
We're not sure why you'd be running into either of the problems you mention. From what you describe, things are setup and should be working right, but obviously they're not.

Can you Private Message one of us admin credentials for your site so that we can investigate further? You can PM us by clicking the mail icon under our avatars.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry for the delayed response. I got your PM, but I'm unable to test much further for the following reasons:
* I requested to join the Group. It's in pending now. Can you approve me?
* The user you sent credentials for isn't able to access the Channels configuration area in JFBConnect. Please send credentials for a Super Admin or can you go to the "Автоматическая подстройка" in JFBConnect and allow my user group access to the Channels configuration area.

In your PM, you also mention:

I would like also use Jomsocial in the future for other purpose. Plugin is set up and activated. BUT I go to JFBConnect > Profiles > ... but there is NO JomSocial tab there. It is the second problem.

JFBConnect will only install the social profile plugin for JomSocial if it detects that JomSocial is already installed. Once you install JomSocial, re-install JFBConnect and the plugin will be installed. Then, enable the Social Profiles - JomSocial plugin. You won't lose any of your settings in JFBConnect when you re-install.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Hello Alex!
Thank you for recommendation. I did all you recommend me in e-mail:
1. I click into my Facebook Application and check "publish_actions" permission: It shows "This app may post on your behalf".
2. Then I delete the Channel I've created in JFBConnect and re-create it.

But the problem is still the same :(. I don't know what the problem is. Please try to post from the front-end by yourself. I don't understand what I do wrong :((((.

I did try a test the other day and I wasn't able to see it either. Thats why I wanted to verify that the correct permissions have been requested.

I'm not sure why it's not posting. There's only 2 things I can recommend to test from here:
1) You look to have many other Pages or Groups that you administer. Please try creating another Channel for one of those Groups or Pages and see if you run into the same posting issue.
2) Send us FTP access to your site to investigate further. We can try to modify some code and get the actual data returned from Facebook during the posting. That may take some time though, so I'd recommend trying to narrow things down with step #1 first.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alex!
I tried step 1 with another group on FB. It doesn't work as well.
Could you please fix the problem without entering the code. I want to be sure that your component work without any other additional manipulation and use it in another sites and with another channels even when subscription expires. Who helps me then with fixing problem?
