Hi Alex,

its amazing, but the didnt approve again my site, thats there answer:
General
Your instructions don't clearly explain how, why and where you're using the permissions you've requested. In order to approve your submission, we need to be able to reproduce the real experience that people will have when using your app.
Please provide the following information, in English, for each permission you are requesting:
A clear explanation of why your app requests this permission and how it is used to enhance a person's experience.
Detailed step-by-step instructions that will allow our review team to reproduce the use of this permission.
For sample explanations and step-by-step instructions please see our review documentation.

please advise,
do you have maybe a documentation what should i write to them?

We don't have a document because it generally hasn't been a problem getting approval.

Can you go through the submission process again and let us know what you're filling out for each field? That will help us understand where the confusion is coming from. You don't even need to submit. We'll try to help tweak things to make it more clear and then you can copy/paste into the submission form.

Thanks,
Alex

hi,
maybe its a lang problem and i dont understand how the explain them, so i will be very happy if you will help me with that:
1. A clear explanation of why your app requests this permission and how it is used to enhance a person's experience.
what should i tell them here? how it used to enhance a person experience? isnt it the process of jbfconnect login?

2. Detailed step-by-step instructions that will allow our review team to reproduce the use of this permission.
i need the birthday and location, i dont understand how to show their team to review and reproduce the process.

Amit,
I know what the questions ask. Can you let me know the types of responses that you're trying to submit? That will help me understand where there may be confusion on Facebook's part. Once we see that, we should be able to help you alter them to get them submitted better.

Thanks,
Alex

ok alex,

here it is:

for Facebook Login Integration:

1. login with facebook (there is the facebook sign) to datebook web site.
2. accept the user_location and user_birthday permission.
3. connet to the web site.
4. after login the user will be direct to the dating arena.
5. we need the user location for our dating system.

Notes for user_birthday item:
‎Please explain how you are using user_birthday to enhance a person's in-app experience.‎
"We are using the Facebook Application on our live site. We are not using it on our Facebook Page. We use the App to allow users to authenticate and to import their profile information automatically to make the registration experience easier for the users."

How did you test user_birthday?
here i didnt test, i dont know how to test it, so i wrote the same :
"We are using the Facebook Application on our live site. We are not using it on our Facebook Page. We use the App to allow users to authenticate and to import their profile information automatically to make the registration experience easier for the users."

Notes for user_location‎:
Please explain how you are using user_location to enhance a person's in-app experience.‎
"We are using the Facebook Application on our live site. We are not using it on our Facebook Page. We use the App to allow users to authenticate and to import their profile information automatically to make the registration experience easier for the users."

Amit,
I think what you wrote sounds good. Here's some notes:

. login with facebook (there is the facebook sign) to datebook web site.
2. accept the user_location and user_birthday permission.
3. connet to the web site.
4. after login the user will be direct to the dating arena.
5. we need the user location for our dating system.

Facebook won't know everything about your site and won't know what the 'dating arena' is. I'd recommend explaining what steps to take, after you authenticate, to go to the user's profile page. There, the Facebook tester can see the page where the imported information is shown.

For the lower steps, Facebook wants to know what you're actually doing with the information you import. Yes, you're making the registration experience simpler, but why are you asking for the user's birthday in the first place? Why do you need that for your site.

For testing, you do need to test. You should authenticate using a Facebook user who is the administrator of the application. After you authenticate, you should explain where the test is able to go to their profile page (provide the link) and see that the data was imported properly.

I hope that helps. I'd recommend updating the information with my suggestions above, copying the submission details to your computer so that you have them in case you're declined and you don't have to start from scratch again.

The Facebook user who created the Application can use any permissions you've configured. You should be able to authenticate on your site with that Facebook account and verify that the birthday or other extended information is being pulled in correctly. If it isn't, something is wrong, which would explain why Facebook won't approve things.

Once it's approved, then all other users who aren't admins of your app will be able to grant the permissions as well.

when i am trying to import from facebook the current location i am getting the hometown, why is that?

I'm not sure why that would be happening. We haven't heard any other users report that those values are switched. Can you test what happens when you set it to "hometown location" and see what value you get then?

and when i am trying to import birthday, i am not getting it from facebook, why is that?

How are you testing this and where aren't you getting it? Are you using the normal registration flow and not seeing it on the registration form? If so, please try using the Automatic registration to see if it's properly imported that way. Either way, please let us know:
* What extension you're trying to import into (Joomla user profile, CB, JomSocial, etc)
* What field-type the field is configured to in that extension (text, date, etc)

when i am checking my app at facebook serring i can see that for me the location and birthday approve.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you saying they've approved the location and birthday permissions already?

Thanks,
Alex
