Q1) Turn on the JFBCContent plugin. You can then configure which buttons show up in the JFBConnect > Social area.

Q2) If you want to show your site inside that page, then yes, you need an SSL certificate on your site. Otherwise, Facebook will not allow it to be displayed within Facebook.com

Q3) There is no URL to directly send the user's to to begin the authentication process. Facebook requires that the user initiate the authentication process on their own. What you can do is create a Joomla article with an intro explaining why they should register for your site and include a big Facebook login button that the user can click to start the process. You can add the Facebook login button with our easy tag, like {JFBCLogin provider=facebook}. There are other ways to customize the button as well, but that should get you started.

Q4) When I visit this page, the buttons are there. Please let me know if you are still having this problem.

Saurabh,

1. In that screenshot, you have 'Show Facebook Like' set to No. In the current version setting just Share to yes does not work for Facebook (we are fixing this for the next release).

2. As long as the page can be accessed over https for Facebook, you don't have to force all users to go over https. It should be fine.

4. Facebook wants the user to initiate the login process, so there is no direct link to the page. You can only link to our login button, which the user can then click. Please my original answer in the first response.

5. Set the 'Login View Settings' option to Modal Popup. You may have to play around with enabling the Load JQuery and Load Bootstrap options in the JFBConnect component and/or the SCLogin Advanced parameters section.

Please make sure you've followed all steps of our LinkedIn Application setup guide . Specifically, step 3-E for setting up the Javascript Domain.

Once set, the button should work.

Thanks,
Alex
