I purchased this extension today for my site and I follow all the instructions to set it up with google, facebook, and twitter. I checked for errors and everything was fine. When I tried to login with twitter nothing would happen, then I tried to login with facebook and it put it on an endless loop to twitter. I took the twitter login off and tried to only use facebook but instead of logging in it will go on a "invalid token" page and if I tried to go on the site it would try to login with facebook again and send me to the "invalid token" page.

this is not a cheap extension and I though it would work out the box...... can you help me wit this?

The issue you describe sounds like a caching or SEF issue on your site. If another extension tries to store or alter the URLs that JFBConnect uses to authenticate, it can do the things you mention (like trying to authenticate to the Twitter URL when the user actually clicked Facebook).

Can you please try the following:
* If you're using an SEF extension, have it 'Skip' altering URLs for JFBConnect. Every SEF extension is different on how to configure this, so I can't give specifics on how to do so.
* Disable any caching or optimization extensions you have enabled.

Once you do either (or both) of the above, things will likely work again. Let us know how that goes, and we'll gladly help further as necessary to get you going.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you Alex, you were right. I had an SEF extension creating different URLs. Once I disable it for your component it work well. :D

One more question, would your component work with Mijoshop or Hikashop?

Replied by mel on topic Extension not working right.
Glad that helped resolve your issue.

We currently support HikaShop for profile integration. After enabling JFBConnect's Hikashop social profiles plugin, navigate to JFBConnect > Profiles > Hikashop to configure what type of profile data will be imported when users login via social networks. For more detailed information on this configuration, please see www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/conf...ut-configuration-tab

If you already had HikaShop installed on your site when JFBConnect was installed, our 'Social Profiles - HikaShop' plugin should have been installed. If not, you can find the package when you unzip the JFBConnect installation zip under /packages/plugins/socialprofiles/hikashop.zip to manually install it.

This should get you started, but let us know if you run into any problems.
