Topic-icon JFBCSystem plugin is enabled - Fail: Not Detected!

Dear Alex,

I downloaded and installed the updated version of JFBConnect. I can't get it to pass Remote Error Check. It says that the JFBCSystem Plugin is not detected. It is installed and enabled.

My site is online, I'm using a generic Joomla template (I switched from my regular them just in case it was using some kind of FB code)

I don't have any mobile templates.

My site won't come up. I get the following error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method SCSocialUtilities::getCurrentReturnParameter() in /home/spikesantee/public_html/components/com_jlinked/libraries/linkedin.php on line 53

Fatal error: Access to undeclared static property: JLoader::$classes in /home/spikesantee/public_html/libraries/loader.php on line 195

Help!

Spike

Can you PM me admin credentials for your site? We'll gladly take a look. This is not an issue we've heard of before though, so we'll have to narrow down what it is.

The first error about getCurrentReturnParameter is definitely from JFBConnect.. though I'm not sure why. I'd recommend trying to re-install JFBConnect and make sure no errors appear during the install process. That will make sure all the files were properly updated.

The 2nd error about the loader is odd and not directly from JFBConnect.. though it could be.. the message doesn't give enough info.

We'll get you going though.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the credentials. I just logged in. The issue is that JLinked is no longer compatible with JFBConnect. Once JFBConnect v6.x is used, JLinked should be removed.

To fix, I disabled the JLinked Authentication, Content, System and User plugins. With that, things started working again.

If you haven't already gone through the JLinked Migration guide, you should now. That will import your LinkedIn connections from JLinked over to JFBConnect and you should be able to safely uninstall JLinked completely.

I hope that helps, but if you need anything else, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

Spike,
No problem at all. We're glad, as always, to help. I'm just happy we could get your site back up within about 15 minutes of your original post. I wish we could get all things working that well.

I hope you didn't stress too much. Next time you run into issues, post here and grab a beer. We'll take over :)

Best of luck,
Alex
