So for JFB6.0, will newly created posts post to social networks automatically?

No. With 6.0, you can create social channels for Facebook Pages & Groups, Twitter Streams and LinkedIn Company pages. Once created you (or any user groups you designate) can click a button from any URL on your site, enter a message and have that posted to any of the channels you select.

We'll be adding the automatic posting ability in an upcoming release.

We wanted to get the manual ability there first since it works with all content/extensions and gives more control over how the post is created. Auto posting will only work for select extensions (Joomla content, etc).. so we wanted to release the more flexible version first.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

The buttons, by default, will only show to Super Administrators that are logged into your site. You can change the user groups that are allowed to post by clicking the Permissions option in the JFBConnect admin area.

If you are logged in as a super admin and still not seeing the toolbar in the bottom left of the page, try going to the JFBConnect -> Configuration area and enabling the "Include jQuery / Bootstrap" option. It's possible there's some Javascript conflict on your site that is causing the issue. That setting should help clear things up.

I hope that helps, but if not, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

The jQuery option is already ENABLED on my screen but I still cannot see the button and I'm logged in as as the super admin. Could you send me a screenshot of what the button might look like perhaps I'm missing out on what it looks like

Check out our JFBConnect v6 released blog post. That has an image of the toolbar that should be in the bottom left of your pages.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Thanks. I have seen what it looks like but unfortunately, that's not coming up for me on my screen. What else can you suggest for me?

Sorry for the delay. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be showing then. That's not an issue we've heard of before.

Could you Private Message super admin credentials so we can get into the site to test what's going on? We'd love to understand the issue further so we can fix it in the next release.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the PM with admin credentials. I couldn't find the login area anywhere on the front-end of the site. Can you let me know where I should be logging in on the front-end?

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry for that. I am still trying to implement our LOGIN page to look just like yours. It's on this page: bunibuni.com/contact
