Topic-icon What causes the "Invalid Scope: user_website;" error from facebook

I suddenly can't use the login via facebook anymore using the jfbconnect module. (www.rein-sieg-freizeit.de)
The javascript button isn't shown. So I activated the "button with link", but after I click on it I get the facebook popup telling me only "Invalid Scope: user_website;"
What can be the cause of this, I have no clue where to search for that error.

Login via facebook only works when I go over the menu "Community" and use the fb login button there (from jomsocial ?).

The link to your page didn't work, so I can't check directly. The user_website permission is requested when you have a profile plugin setup to import the user's website URL from Facebook into your profile extension. That permission shouldn't be causing a problem though, so I'd need to see the page to understand more.

Another alternative is to check the Configuration -> Facebook API area and in the Additional Facebook Permission, make sure that field is blank, or, if there's something in there, that it's formatted properly. If you have an invalid field in there, it will throw that error ("possibly the ; " from your message).

Finally, you shouldn't have JomSocial's Facebook integration enabled when using JFBConnect. For more information on how to best configure JFBConnect and JomSocial together, see our JomSocial/JFBConnect integration guide .

Thanks,
Alex
