Unfortunately, we don't currently offer paid support services. We're simply not staffed to do so. However, we try to offer the best support available and will gladly help you work through the issue you're having.

The problem you describe is almost always caused by one of 2 issues:
* You haven't run Autotune recently. Go into JFBConnect, click the Autotune button in the top right and go to the "FB App" area. Click "Refresh" in the top right and check that all your settings are at the recommended values. Specifically the "App Domain" and "Site URL" settings.
* Your Facebook app is in Sandbox mode. Go to the Facebook Developer Page and click into your App. Check the "Sandbox" setting and make sure it is disabled.

Likely, one of those solutions will fix your problem, but if not, let us know, and we'll gladly help investigate more.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the fast reply. We have run "autotune" multiple times, it works for a minute or two and then breaks (for lack of better word).

I will try the above steps and let you know how it goes.

OK, the facebook app is not in SANDBOX mode. We have run autotune multiple times and still nothing. We have the latest and greatest of the component installed on our Joomla 2.5.

Please help, thank you in advance.

Alright, I just looked at your Autotune logs. You've tried with 2 URLs, one of which is an IP address. You can't use an IP address for Facebook logins. They aren't 'trusted' by Facebook like a real domain is, and Facebook doesn't allow many of it's features to be used on just IP addresses.

Are you testing on the IP address, or on the domain name URL? If it doesn't work on the domain-named URL, can you post (or Private Message) the URL you're trying with and we'll test it as well. If it's the same one in Autotune zam--.nar--.com, we can test there, but just need to be sure.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for PM'ing me the information about your site. Can you post (or PM) me more details about how to recreate the problem? I can't see the Login with Facebook button anywhere on your site. Is there a specific page I should be testing on, or should I enable the SCLogin module, or something else.

Any details you can give on how you're testing and running into issues will help us narrow things down for you.

Thanks,
Alex

I guess that is part of our problem. Currently we could only find the ability for you to login with the social media by "clicking login" on the top right hand corner of the page without entering any information. This will take you to a page and there you can click on the facebook image.

It is kind of tacky, but dont really know how to make it better.

Yup, that's tacky :) There's quite a few options available, depending on how easier vs customizeable you want it to be.

Including with JFBConnect and JLinked is our SCLogin module (v2.0) which is a basic replacement for the Joomla login module but has the social buttons added to it. This would 'work', but not well with your template.

There is also a 'new' SCLogin module which will be including with the next release of JFBConnect & JLinked. You can see it in action at the top of this page, but there's lots of different styles if you don't want a popup. I think this is your best option specifically because it has a 'horizontal' mode option that I think will hopefully work well in the area of your current login area at the top. For the full product overview or to download the SCLogin module (it's free), see:
www.sourcecoast.com/sclogin/features/

In addition to that, there are other options, such as the {JFBCLogin} and {JLinkedLogin} tag that you can put anywhere on your site to have those buttons appear. These are good in an article or Custom HTML module to give maximum flexibility. You can even use your own custom images for the buttons if you want.

So, there's a lot of ways to add the social login buttons, and I hope one of the above sounds good. If you have any questions though, just let me know.

Finally, for why you can't login with Facebook, when I try, there's the following Javascript error that comes up in the browser console:

Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains.

That means that Autotune hasn't set the right values for your page. Can you please re-run autotune again and hit 'refresh'. Make sure that the Site URL has 'http://www..com' and that all other recommendations are right. There's nothing else I can see that would be a problem for Facebook login.

I hope that helps,
Alex
