With our social extensions, we get the question all the time: How can I make the login module horizontal? Previously, this took lots of CSS or overrides to get the standard Joomla login module to play nice. With our improved SCLogin module, it's an easily set parameter.
If you want a sidebar position, the vertical layout is a good choice. The horizontal layout can provide a wider, yet more condensed view - this can be a good choice for a navigation bar. These layout settings coupled with SCLogin's orientation options can provide several different styles for your login module. The good news is you just need to set a couple options in the back end and you're good to go.
