What is the name of your action? Are you using a 'built-in' action (news.reads, music.listens, etc), or did you create your own? If you created you're own, you can't have JFBConnect automatically trigger it when a page loads, you need to create a button or tie it to some other action that we already support (uploading an image in JomSocial, voting for an article, etc).

Let me know more about the action your submitting, and we'll gladly help how we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Do you mean you changed the action, or have you been using the news.reads action the whole time and got that message? If you're using news.reads, you shouldn't have received that message.

Either way, let us know if you still need assistance from us. We'll help how we can.

Thanks,
Alex

I got your PM. The information there didn't tell me very much about how you have the action configured. From your message above though, since you submitted the action, it seems like things are working. If not, please let us know exactly what is (or isn't) happening.

Additionally, if there are issues, can you go into your Open Graph area of JFBConnect and let us know the Name, Object Type, and "Built-In Object" settings for the object you've configured? Then, let us know the settings for Action, Built-In Action and "Action Type" setting for the action you configured?

That will help us undertand what may be wrong.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alex,

I'm getting this:

Changes needed
Please make the changes below and resubmit for review.
Please provide screenshots or a video that document the complete in-app user flow for your integration as well as the story as it appears on the user's timeline. Please highlight where the setting to turn on/off sharing is. We were not able to locate it in the test environment. Please read through the complete guidelines here: developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/s.../native_mobile_apps/

===========================================================================
BELOW is solved
**Please note that if you are submitting a built-in read or watch action you should include a video that covers all of the criteria outlined in the guidelines for the specified action: developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/guidelines/#builtin

Hello Alex,

Here's the open graph action I submitted. Still pending for review.

Action Type Summary
Past Tense: read
Plural Past Tense: read
Present Tense: is reading
Plural Present Tense: are reading
Connected Objects: Article
Steps to Reproduce Action:
1 User visit's Bruce Fordyce Blog, blog will prompt the user to login thru facebook account
2 there is a strong indication that the user is actually reading an article and only after the user has been on the page for a minimum of 10 seconds. User read an article, it will post into his/her timeline that he read an article. Sample: John Doe Read an article at Bruce Fordyce Blog
3 Any activities (share, comment, like) made on site will be posted on users Timeline/activity Log
4 users have the ability to remove any read stories they publish to Facebook and this will be included on thethe same page where the article is hosted.
5 Users have the ability to turn sharing on/off globally, and the setting a user selects should persist. Here's the video for our open graph actions.

Thanks for the updated information on how you submitted. The PM you sent is looks to be for a dev site. When I logged in, the Open Graph area of JFBConnect didn't have any actions or objects defined.

When you submit, your action should be on a live site. If it already is, then you'd need to send me those details for me to check out your configuration.

Beyond that, your video looked good. The only thing you may want to add in your steps (if you get declined again) is to post the exact URL where the user can delete and disable actions. It can be done from the popup, but JFBConnect also has pages to manage those settings, which may help the Facebook approver see the actual flow and settings instead of having to find them on your site.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Solved the K2 issue now,
They have the open graph plugin for that.
============================================
Good day Alex,

It's working now on my default Joomla articles.

We have K2 as a content extension, can the read news open graph action be used in that?

Best,
Roniel

Solved the K2 issue now,
They have the open graph plugin for that.

I'm not sure what you're referencing or mean with this.

As for your question below, yes, we have an Open Graph - K2 plugin. Once installed, you can configure it the same as you did for Joomla articles and even use the same action that you used for Joomla articles. Just associate the current working news.reads action you have with the new K2 Objects you create.

Hope that helps, but if you need more information, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

I meant the Open Graph plug-in you guys have.
It's awesome.
My app's open graph has been approved now also.
Question, if I transfer the URL of my joomla site, shall i resubmit new Open Graph action application?>
