Opengraph action Read from 21/1/2013 suddenly stop posting in users timeline
At JFBConnect: Open Graph - Activity Log all posts seems fine with no fb errors but on users timeline history absolute nothing...
In Autotune all seems fine but in fb developers the warning still remains:
Your app, needs to be updated for the February 2013 Breaking Changes.
Once your app is compliant, set the migration setting to "Enabled" in the Advanced section of the App Dashboard.
These changes will be permanently enabled for all apps in 11 days on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.

Elef,
If you re-run the Autotune configuration wizard and hit "Refresh" in the "FB App" area, that will re-fetch the best settings for your app, including the new migration settings. Hit Apply, and that will fix the message you got from Facebook.

Beyond that, I'm not sure why it wouldn't post to Facebook, especially if there are no errors. After you update the migration settings as above, try again, and hopefully that's all that was necessary. If not though, please:
* Let us know if the Open Graph Action was approved by Facebook and has been used successfully by users in the past (not just admins).
* Let us know a page that we can test the Open Graph action ourself and see what may be happening.

Thanks,
Alex

I thought I was the only one. I've set it up 100% the way the guide does and this is what I get back from FB. Your logs show it's going but nothing is going.

See my image attachments. I have done everything step by step TWICE!

I can't get the READ to work. I've autotuned and done everything. I thought since it went to my log FB had to activate it. Everything seems to be working as advertise.

Allen/Elef,
We're looking into some possible causes as to why the actions wouldn't be showing up in your Timeline. This doesn't seem to be something very widespread with JFBConnect in general, but we definitely want to get to the bottom of it.

Allen- Did you just create your FB App? If you go to developers.facebook.com/apps and click into your app, can you let me know if there are any "Developer Alerts" showing?

Elef- Can you go to the Advanced area of your app and make sure the "February 2013 Breaking Changes:" setting is enabled? If so, click on the developer alert that should say "Fix Now". Click that, and see if the information there seems correct. Once enabled, the developer alert should change to "Resolved". Honestly though, the February migration doesn't have anything to do with the Open Graph and shouldn't be preventing posting.

Both,
There's a bug report already posted on Facebook that some news.reads events aren't posting to the Timeline properly:
developers.facebook.com/bugs/405043742914404

Finally, please test with your Facebook admin user (if you haven't already). Then (this might get confusing), do this:
* Go to developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/
* In the top right "Application" drop down, select your app
* In the "GET" box, set the following query:
/me/news.reads
* Hit "Submit"
Paste the output here. It should be the data that is stored in Facebook about your Action. If that's there, it means the post was successful, as JFBConnect reports. We'll just need to understand why it's not showing in the Activity log.

Sorry you're running into issues. JFBConnect tries to make very difficult things very easy, but there are lots moving parts that can break. We'll help get things going how we can!

Thanks,
Alex

Does this help

Edge: /me/news.reads

{
"error": {
"message": "Unknown path components: /news.reads ",
"type": "OAuthException",
"code": 2500
}
}

I'm not sure what you are exactly asking for me to do.

Basically the same issue as the opening post. Followed your posts above but the problem remains.

Allen,
It looks like you have an extra / in your path. It should look like /me/news.reads/ not //me/news.reads/

The purpose of running that query is to see what Actions Facebook things have been posted on your behalf.

John,
Thanks for running the query. The first post you included showed a news.read action for the article at:
www.poetspoetrypoems.com/entry/sea-life-1.html
Does that seem like the correct article that JFBConnect has posted to your Timeline? Is it not showing in your Activity Log on Facebook or Timeline area? If so, we'll probably have to report this as a bug to Facebook. At that point, JFBConnect thinks it's properly posted the action to Facebook and Facebook obviously sees the action. I'm not sure (and don't have specific control over) why it's not displayed in the Activity Log.

The Activity Log should show every action every posted, regardless of whether it's shown in your profile or other areas. That's it's purpose, to give you a raw look at all the actions you've ever done, and to our knowledge, there shouldn't be any reason for any of it to be hidden.

Thanks,
Alex

It is the correct article and doesn't appear on facebook at all. Everything on my website suggests it worked ok - notification on frontend and listed in backend. The only issue that stands out to me at the moment is that I still have the notification on Facebook about the February breaking changes despite refreshing autotuning etc. I know you say it should not be related but I wonder if they have put a block on posts until the situation is resolved?
