I followed all the instructions mentioned in your site and completed the tuning. Nothing helped. The plugin won't allow me to login or register. It asks with a permission screen (the usual Facebook app permission), and then nothing happens. When I open the error console, I get an error in xd_arbiter.php which is the oauth page redirection for facebook.

It seems like the Modal Javascript framework, that's a part of Joomla, isn't able to be initialized properly. We use that to display the "You are now logging in" popup message. Can you disable that feature in the Configuration area of JFBConnect and try again?

I'm not seeing anything about an xd_arbiter.php error. The issue above that I describe seems like a simple Javascript error that's preventing further execution.

If that still doesn't work, please let us know what browser and OS you are using.

Thanks,
Alex

After I deleted the App permission from my Facebook and reset my cookies, it seems to be working fine now. :D

So what exactly was the problem so that I can ask my developers to fix it.

The problem is that there's some sort of Javascript issue on the page preventing the Modal.js squeezebox function from working. JFBConnect uses a squeezebox to show the "You are now being logged in using your Facebook credentials" popup. If you want that popup to display, you'll need to figure out what's causing that conflict.

Hope that helps,
Alex
