Topic-icon JomSocial Not Importing Profile Data From Facebook

I have installed the plugins, mapped out the fields from Facebook to JomSocial. I test out an account from Facebook and none of the data is importing into JomSocial.

I have attached the privacy screen from Facebook to show the permissions are there. I am sure there is something I am missing just can't figure out what it is.

Searched all the messages on here, help files, 2 hours in and now I am looking for help.

Thanks.

Additionally, when a user creates an account for the first time it seems to get stuck at this point after clicking 'Continue'. I have to refresh to get to the profile and continue. Screenshot attached.

You should not be filling out the permissions request field. JFBConnect will do that automatically for the fields you have setup to import. That field should only be used for special cases, like you're developing your own features. Try removing all the permission requests you've put there as that's likely preventing the correct permissions from being requested, and therefore the right data from being pulled in.

As for the 2nd image, that looks like you're using JomSocial's Facebook integration. You should disable their integration when using JFBConnect. For more information, see:
Facebook integration for JomSocial

Hope that helps,
Alex

Ah. I removed the Facebook keys from the JomSocial Configuration screen (as it said in your instructions) and now the Facebook Login button is gone. I will now integrate your tags into the template. My bad. I had already disabled the JomSocial plugins for FB connect but apparently that wasn't enough.

Thank you. Will get the tags into the templates and see how it goes from there.

No problem! Let us know how it goes. If you have any other questions, just let us know! Sorry for the confusion in our documentation. We're working on improving the find-ability of everything and hope to have the site up in a few months.

Thanks,
Alex
